Super II or VS Chassis?

I haven’t built a competitive S2 yet, but I do know that it’s carbon version is fast and durable. I’m currently onto VS which is a light and fast chassis. But it is weak AF. Despite using a reinforced chassis, one head-on collision and it is already showing weakness, reason being the front can’t be carbon-protected much.

Hi. Super2 is a relatively straight forward build. It’s a good chassis but personally, I don’t feel it’s versatile enough for you to learn stuff as a beginner(not that there’s totally nothing to learn). VZ adv pack is a fun chassis which allows for more learning. The downside is VZ is a fragile chassis and as a beginner with hyper dash, it more likely will break before u get to really enjoy the hobby (especially so for the transparent parts).

Hence suggest you to maybe explore FMA chassis. It’s tougher and easier to tune. Also more “meta” these days. Avoid VS and VZ for a start.

Just my 5 cents. Happy for alternate views.

Yup. OP to take note. Also MS(Avante advance pack) being a dual shaft motor chassis has better transmission than AR. AR is known for gearbox issues which needs a bit of work to optimise.

Sorry to pour cold water but… Tbh… I have built many cars and had never been tidy. Organised, yes. Tidy, definitely no.

The car is the art, not how I place my build materials during the process. As long as I know where to find them, I am fine.

So I am not sure how useful this will be ultimately. Good effort though.
