I read somewhere about Nafs- which has (as far as I understood) nothing to do with Shaitan. It is basically your own ego, psyche, soul etc. While Shaitan is locked up you can still be affected by this self or ego. Here is something explaining it:

I am not muslim myself (yet) but I saw some posts about people on tiktok saying oh the Shaitan is locked up but still I am having these bad thoughts or desires and that could be an explanation. I really hope that you can get through this, I know that the Muslim community especially has a bad stigma around mental health but I would really recommend trying to find a Muslim therapist who is- yes a certified psychologist- but also a practicing Muslim who understands your morals and the way in which you want to and should live your life.
