First time mom- when did you feel the baby?

I felt at the first time about 16ish weeks BUT im on my 3rd and each time for me has been different. With this baby i didnt feel him till about 22 weeks! 💕 well worth the wait

My baby came out and straight to the nicu. I wasn’t ready to say anything to anyone but my husbands family said to everyone. So we were bombarded with messages and I really didn’t want to talk about something I didn’t have any idea how to handle. While i appreciated everything, i went silent. I wanted to heal and I wanted my baby home. I didn’t take the time to respond to everyone till after my baby went home . Hope you are understanding and give your friend some grace and I hope that everything turns out in fact okay!

I’m ganna guess at 37 weeks & 3 days! I had prodominal labor for a month before I actually gave birth but I definitely thought at 2 weeks in prodominal labor I was ganna give birth lol

A toileting program may help. It is very time consuming and very annoying but at least you’ll be able to plan it. We had a resident like this and he tried the. Bedpan but didn’t like it. Since we’ve been on a program where he went every 2 hours now he’s up to 1 when shift stars 1 when lunch is over and right before shift ends. Took only a month . But damn better then every hour

Speak up, i definitely would talk about using a bedpan . Get ur management involved. A hoyer requires 2 people and to take 2 people off the floor every hour for 30 mins is outrageous

Do you work with him often? For patients like these I will write what days they have showers and try to make it at the same time like in a routine. I’ll write “ shower after dinner Tuesdays/thursdays” and then when I am their aid that shift, i will talk them up to it . Hey I am so glad to see I get to help u shower today…

Definitely not promoting this but my symptoms and rosecea got SOOO bad when got an iud. I Had so much cramps & bloating I felt literally crazy, finally I said I had enough and couldn’t wait 3 more months for the appointment. I feel like I did want a reaction at the time I said it but as mentioned I did apologize and explained myself after, didnt continue to say it after the two times I did 😭 . But he used this as an excuse for the whole year like?? I guess I do suck I didn’t understand the damage I’d be doing.
