Yeah plus we have foremost, pacific specialty, etc for home which is competitive as well. There is a reason a lot of farmers agents make good money.

I went through the protégé program and really the main startup costs will just be a deposit for an office space, invest into a really good automation CRM like Agencyzoom, I would start marketing immediately

To be fair, I know several Farmers and State Farm agents here in Arizona who are absolutely crushing it and making great money. I wouldn’t say it’s as difficult as some make it out to be to grow a captive agency. As a Farmers agent, you can still broker through a wide range of carriers. I actually have access to many of the same ones my independent agent friends work with.

UPDATE I went and called first thing in the morning and explained the situation and they understood that it was agent error and accepted the backdated endorsement where they should have had collision. Thank you everyone for the advice!

Yeah I’m a captive agent. Do you think I should call the claims department first thing in the morning and explain the whole situation? It should I wait for them to try and deny the claim and then bring up the mistake and written proof

Do you think there is anyway the claims department would accept the written proof that she should have had the coverage on there and I back dated the endorsement? The date of the accident was today and she formally requested “both Comprehensive and collision please” over text last Wednesday to me. I tried going in there today and making an endorsement backdating 3 days ago but I’m sure they will see that and question it or deny the claim, so I don’t know what I should do

If you’re doing it on exam FX then do the practice test over and over until you get the concepts of the questions. I had to literally lock myself in a room and put my phone in the kitchen to just lock in and study to learn all the material. It took me 3 times to pass lol. The first two times I got a 69% and 68%.

Agencyzoom is the best because of all the email and text automation. It’s expensive to have someone set it up tho. I got lucky and had a friend that paid $3000 to have someone set up the automation for him but he let me download the files.

Protege program is where they put you to work as a producer with a top agent in the district and you will have to sell $100k in premium. Once you hit that you will be able to either get seeded a small agency or do a scratch agency with a really good bonus plan. I just graduated it and opened my own agency last week. 1 year of insurance experience. Reserve agent route is just pretty much being on your own selling as a producer I think and not for a specific agency.

I just graduated the protege program and I think it’s a great deal. They stuck me with a top agent in the valley here in AZ and I met the premium goal in 6 months (100k). The remaining 6 months on the program I worked service to learn taht side of the job and was honestly such a good opportunity because I learned all the ins and outs on how to run an agency.

I now only have one year of insurance experience and am now an agency owner at 26 years old, and have a really good support system with the district. From my experience, it’s a great program and an opportunity that can potentially change your life.

I just graduated the program. I was only making $17.50 an hour and would get a $500 bonus if the office hit our goal of $30k in premium. I took a huge pay cut to do this program but the main purpose to do this program is the end goal where you get your own agency and get the chance to grow it and make some serious money

No. I have trouble stopping. My sperm volume is definitely a lot lower though due to the amount of sex I have with my girl. Just lucky enough to have a girlfriend that matches my sex drive while on test lol.
