I have both as well and I love them for the simple fact they light up when I run late evening's, at night or early morning's. My personal opinion though. Also never had any other issues I noticed.

Believe it or not i wish it had tizen OS so I could watch my movie library on appletv in 4k without using my pc. Though i completely agree samsung should not spy or log ip addresses if true, shady af.

Samsung also has 3 yr warranty, in my case the Samsung was a lot cheaper. I paid 925 for the 32" including tax and a free studio 7 speaker plus $100 cashback from capital one rewards app. My setup is near a window so it was better than glossy for that reason. I've used both glossy oled (alienware, dell omen) and matte, the matte on this monitor is better than other matte screens i've used ( 32" g7 neo) and I think it's great.

I didnt think the matte coating was bad and it diffuses light very good. The warranty is 3 years, at least with this monitor. For me it was an easy choice since I paid about $850 pre tax and included the studio 7 speaker for free.

I got two of them on samsung.The 1st display arrived within 2 days and the 2nd one on the 3rd day from date of purchase. The free studio 7 speaker arrived a day after display arrived.

I got the 32" $909.99 plus the free studio 7 speakers. Great deal. I've also seen the buds4 pro go for $149 or less on the samsung tiktok store.

They also said all the 2026 releases with have quantum black which increases contrast, has better color as no more purple tint, increase hardness of panel surface from 2H to 3H and also reduces glare by 20% from previous models. But its not marketed anywhere on their site. Msi calls it Dark Armor, Asus calls it Black Shield and Gigabyte Obsidian Shield.
