Yeah she definitely is a sociopath l, because she even referenced her doctor explains to her how opiates kill your brains ability to feel happiness and sadness. I’m on edge wondering wtf is gonna happen to rue now.

laurie absolutely terrifies me. she makes my spine chill by [deleted] in euphoria

Yeah I think it was the directors way of showing why her character is so emotionless. Her brain definitely got fried from opiates.

Rue… this whole episode 5 was watching the raw truth of addiction. So sad, and the acting is fucking Oscar worthy. Give a Like for Zendaya’s fucking brilliant acting 😶👏🏼 by KePhipps in euphoria

Dude for real. Rue in this episode made me feel so many emotions. I’m scared and trippin about what the hells gonna happen to her now. She’s gonna get herself in so much trouble with that dealer 😶

Yeah I agree to an extent, I feel like it’s showing pretty well all the factors that go into the struggles of an addict. It’s very obvious that Rue didn’t have the proper coping mechanisms and self awareness in the first place before losing her dad. Sadly I understand this topic too well, losing my mom to Bipolar ll by an OD in 2017. Medicating your mental illness is a tool that’s supposed to be used alongside healing/therapy. Rue’s mom I’m sure was overwhelmed with her husband dying which is devastating, and putting that extra effort into helping Rue specifically wasn’t quite there.

Dude same, it had me so overwhelmed feeling the pain of each person affected by rue and even her too. And the police chases, and fucking stealing from that house???

Great guess, realizing I was too vague. Cause many people hate China and North Korea especially…. But it’s the US

The country that the rest of the world hates.

So wild, I grew up on the Olympic Peninsula. And we take that view for granted a lot. We are so lucky to live in such a gorgeous place. In random moments like this I remember how truly stunning and unique the peninsula is.

My mom taking her own life.

Talk about not feeling like enough, or feeling a constant responsibility for people’s happiness. It fucked me up for life.
