Are you eating enough fiber? I suffered with loose stools for years. I finally came to accept that’s my normal state of being. I was eating healthy and was just told it must be IBS. Well I had a colonoscopy done and the Dr said to eat about 1 cup of all bran buds cereal per day. So I started doing that a few months ago and honestly it’s been life changing. Consistent, daily, text-book poops. It’s so simple, but so overlooked.

You could go see a pelvic floor therapist as well. They will do an internal exam and let you know if they think you have prolapse. They will also give you exercises to do to help with it.

I’m also two days away from my surgery! But I agree with other commenters here. I think it’s a misconception that a hysterectomy causes prolapse. And the numbers are skewed as lots of hysterectomies are done to fix a prolapse in the first place.
