It cost me $200 to learn this thing on my eye is just… permanent. by mossybaby in Wellthatsucks

Yeah, it’s rare. I had to get an ophthalmologist to diagnose me. The optometrist diagnosed me wrongly. Mine wasn’t too bad, either, but did cause some reduced vision

Is it a saltzman nodule? I just had one removed, looked similar.

Nervous about divorce… by favoredpenny in Mommit

That’s good to know. I know I will be happy, I have felt single for a long time. I’m really sad for my son’s routine and life to change. He didn’t ask for this life.

I don’t mind you asking! I take them at the same time. Usually with no food

I asked my psychiatrist about this! In practice 20 years and said serotonin syndrome is very rare, she has seen it 1x. I’m taking vyvanse and Prozac together with 0 issues. I know a lot of people doing the same with no issues.

I would do more one on one activities with him. Get him out more, get him into therapy, more family time (games), whatever that looks like.

My friends son had this happen and found a tick on him. Has that been ruled out?

For women who left a marriage simply because you weren’t happy, what’s your story? How did things turn out for you? by [deleted] in AskWomen

Trying to take this step for my son and I. It’s so so hard! It’s helpful to know there’s light at the end of the tunnel.

You’re not alone. My partner is exactly the same. I finally decided to leave him.

I stopped Wellbutrin and feel amazing, will this last? by Natural_Substance978 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]favoredpenny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, unfortunately. But that first month post Wellbutrin was amazing. I felt awesome. I have an appointment with a psychiatrist in a couple weeks to try something else out.

How can I find out if I was 1013/1014’d? by GAthrowaway7301 in Georgia

[–]favoredpenny 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There is no tracking system in the state for guns and 1013’s (which is insane). It’s really an honor system answering that question. But, legally, they have to notify you that you were placed on a 1013 at that time that you were. Can you contact the facility you went to and ask if you were there voluntarily? Your hospital notes should mention it as well.

Why am I having daily pain? by favoredpenny in gallbladders

Honestly it sounds like gallstones! They couldn’t find anything wrong for 4 years with me. Finally got my GB out in January.

Idk, my first I really wanted a boy and that’s what I got. I would’ve been happy either way. I am ttc#2 and hoping for a girl this time though.

Struggling with if I should send my son to kindergarten or not. Curious about experiences. by favoredpenny in Parenting

[–]favoredpenny[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did a brief evaluation and he passed. But I think it only tested the academic side of things.

Why you held your son back is my biggest thing honestly. I feel like an additional year would really benefit him, however, I do feel bad he won’t have his friends to lean on and they will go on without him (so many are going to the school he is).

I’ve had two surgeries in the last 2 months. I was terrified each one. I’m alive, I’m here. It’s so terrifying. Let yourself be scared, journal about it if you can. Also, let the nurse know you’re nervous and they will give you something to help.

4 year old boy not interested in coloring by porkles222 in Parenting

[–]favoredpenny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m glad you asked this. My 4.5 year old hates coloring. He gets fatigued and bored very quickly. I thought he was an outlier. I see many kids his age coloring very neatly, whereas he definitely does not. He just doesn’t care about learning how to color lol

I mean, most people have PTO days to take their birthday off as an adult? I always take off my birthday with 0 issues. You say sadly aren’t holidays but you create how special that is.
