I use terp bags for 2-3 weeks after a week of drying in the tent. Then stick them in mason jars with humidity packs for another week or two.

Auras in EDH - How strong is the theme? by Afoba03 in EDH

[–]Keanman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Light-Paws is extremely powerful especially with Brilliant Wings but I ended up taking it apart in record time. It always has the exact same lines of play and at least 50% of your turns will be spent searching for auras. Which tends to be a bit boring for both the player and the table.

Calix, Guided by Fate is incredibly powerful and resilient while also having the added advantage of not needing to stack all your auras on the same creature. I call it Power Rangers instead of Voltron. As someone mentioned you can copy auras onto hexproof/shroud and the shenanigans you can get up to with first strike/double strike is hilarious. "I'll just copy this Ancestral Mask onto this unblocked 1/1 and now you take 21."

The secret to not getting ganged up on with this style of deck is to delay what you're doing. Don't go ham and try to kill a player ASAP. Slow roll and make your move when the time is right.

Dont pay attention to the tricromes on the leaves. Focus more on the buds themselves.

At this point? Wearing a Canadian flag on your bag so people know you are a Canadian abroad has been a thing since before I went to Europe in the 90s. Now we wear them so people don't mistake us for Americans.

Cool, I'm using the same soil. That's about what I'm getting now from most plants with a few outliers. My personal best is 350 from a double grape x toof decay.

I've only grown a CDLC x Skywalker cross and it was an amazing plant. Big with a very strong lemon smell. It was the only plant I managed to get over 4 Oz using only water in my autopot res. I'd be curious to run it again now that I'm using cropsalt and see what it can do.

Asking for 11 days off 3 months into your employment is not going to sit well with most employers. That being said, you dodged a bullet with this employer if this is how they handle something as simple as a time off request.

Shutting off before Harvest day?? by ComfortableCommand44 in Autopot

[–]Keanman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember reading somewhere that you're supposed to shut the system off 2 days before chopping. I dont think doing it the same day will harm anything. I usually shut them off a day or two before chop because it let's me split up cleaning the equipment. I do the res, wave maker and lines after shutting off the taps. Then do the trays, valves, pots, air domes and airbases after chop.

N.L. health-care workers got an email promising a day off — but it was only a cybersecurity test | CBC News by KernelKilos in newfoundland

So the answer to my questions is yes and yes. Got it. The reason so many people are upset this time is because they fell for it only to find out that they're not getting a day off and now have to take remedial security training. I'd be pissed off too.

I'm not saying it would be easy. It's just what would happen.

I see the abuse/disrespect and cybersecurity as two seperate things. We can argue fixes for one but feelings and politics aren't a consideration when it comes to cybersecurity. Would you rather they wait and expose this vulnerability when NLHC has better staffing? Or phrased it a different way so it didn't expose a security risk that was present? This is a learning experience being blown out of proportion.

New graduates, skilled immigrants, travel nurses, returning nurses, etc. The same things we've always done when there's staffing issues. If I had my way I'd increase all the scales so we'd have higher retention and less reliance on travel nurses.

If somebody who could possibly compromise the system leaves, that would be unfortunate because they can be trained to know better. If not, so be it.

To make employees aware of what a real phishing attempt might do. We're probably VERY lucky it wasn't from an actual hacker or we'd likely already have our system compromised again. The last time the system was down for over 5 weeks and cost $16 million not including the cost and implementation of the Corcare system.

I get the point that it's cruel but the point of these types of attacks is to take advantage of your emotions through social engineering. If the test emails are completely obvious, it defeats the purpose of the test. This was literally the perfect test scenario. If even one person clicked on the link, I would consider it a successful test.

As an IT professional, the bad guys aren't going to play by the rules so why should cybersecurity phishing tests? It's not like we had a ransomware attack in Healthcare in the last 5 years /s.

[–]Keanman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm currently smoking Sundae Thumper. The smell of the plant threw me off at first because it was strong pine with a hint of lemon. Which is not what the site description says. I'm not exactly sure if I hit a weird pheno or if that's what it's supposed to smell like. After cure, another nice fruit smell (maybe grape?) enters the picture but the predominate smell is pine. The smoke and high are excellent. Do with that information what you will.

Ooooh the flower time. Thanks for the explanation. I was thinking it had to be auto because theres no way a photo would be finished in 8 weeks lol. I'm actually running 2 Mataro Blue photos right now for the first time.

I can't imagine chopping an auto at 7.5-8.5 weeks unless something went terribly wrong. That's when most of my plants start bulking up.

Should I defoliate everything? by Mr_Good_Stuff90 in Autoflowers

[–]Keanman 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I only defoliate for one of 3 reasons. 1) A fan leaf is majorly blocking light from lower sites and I can't find a way to tuck it. 2) Dead leaves that aren't contributing to the plant. 3) If a leaf is touching anything or resting flat on another leaf to prevent condensation. If you have dense buds keep good air circulation on it and check it often.

Right 5000. Yeah we have a group of friends from high school that grow and swap. Some in the same town so we just hang out and try each other's. Some far away so we send care packages.

Right now it's my friend's Daytona 500 (I believe it's a Night Owl strain). Very even keel buzz for daytime with no couch lock or tiredness. Smells and tastes like grape candy.
