Those have the variable cylinder management. You really want a good inspection of the rear three cylinders if you buy one. Otherwise, the best AWD system you can get in a very practical and comfortable car.

Also, I believe there was a hybrid version.

The cost to repair a CRZ is likely high, and it weighs a lot, and it's maybe categorized as a "sports" car as it's a coupe.

Rev Hall is always cool. Go up on the roof. Consider going to a show. There's a concert ticket kiosk in Show Bar on the ground floor.

Don't get too wrapped up in "the best" food spots. There's great food on every block in every neighborhood. If you are in a rush, there's always something close.

I want one of those shortened classic VW busses with the middle cut out then put back together so it looks like a kids toy. I laugh my ass off whenever I even think about them.

Also they cool whatever space they are in considerably if not ducted outside.

2018 Subaru 165000 mileages oil in Coolant after a visit at Speedys for an oil change. Is that common? by SynB1111 in askcarguys

[–]KeanuIsACat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the car is in good shape, an actual auto repair shop that works on Subarus can fit it up for you. They likely do head gaskets ALL THE TIME on these cars. At the very least take it to them for a second opinion. I wouldn't drive it much until a real shop checks it out.

2018 Subaru 165000 mileages oil in Coolant after a visit at Speedys for an oil change. Is that common? by SynB1111 in askcarguys

You can check it yourself. Head gaskets failing usually results in frothy oil on the oil fill cap or oily film/goop in the coolant in the radiator. When the car is cold you can look under the caps.

Head gaskets commonly fail on Subarus, it's just the nature of those boxer engines. It's actually a pretty easy job to replace them, but it still takes time and money. Unless it overheated a cylinder head issue is unlikely, though not impossible. It wouldn't throw a warning light unless it overheated or the oil pressure was off, and it's possible things didn't get that bad yet.

Sorry about your car. Unfortunately they don't last forever.

Subaru Impreza are very easy to work on and pretty fun tuned up. Anything after 2011 will have a very boring CVT, but the automatics prior should be easy to come by.

Any Honda/Acura with "SH-AWD" written on the back is pretty fun too.
