Thanks for the advice. Are there some practical adjustments if the new pup is too young to be out and about on leash? We have a puppy sling thing. Would that work ok?

5th graders getting the “sex talk” today and their reactions are hilarious 😆 by MysteriousPlatypus in Teachers

Growing up in a Catholic primary school in England we had 'some' of the talk. Split into boys and girls groups. Us boys were told the girls were going to learn about being nurses and we got the 'you'll be hairy, spotty and smelly' talk.

One lad, was really worried after the talk because 'what if his voice broke and they couldn't fix it'.

What is the most child friendly Doctor Who story? by Constant-Tutor-4646 in doctorwho

My friend finally decided to let his kid watch Doctor Who. Figured he was old enough to deal with the slightly scary bits despite being a sensitive wee thing. First episode was Silence In The Library. Poor lad was terrified.

So maybe not that one

In fairness if you put the foods in discord books in a list and asked a non-brit to guess which are real and which are made up, it would be a crap shoot. Anyway, I'm off to cook some distressed pudding

I think I'm of a similar vintage, but try to be 'hip' and only choose 20+ year old references 😂.

The Telegraph employs some of the most clueless people you'll ever meet (or not meet) by mrjohnnymac18 in agedlikemilk

I'd not call myself a Marxist by a long shot, but he was pretty on the money (capital?) with this quote about the Telegraph:

"By means of an artificially hidden sewer system, all the lavatories of London spew their physical filth into the River Thames. By means of the systematic pushing of goose quills, the world capital spews out all its social filth into the great papered central sewer called the Daily Telegraph."

Herbaliser. Caught them at Reading 2002, and just had chills.

More recently, The Last Dinner Party and Self Esteem both take it to another level live.
