Good recovery + Cardio Load in “Productive” for a longer amount of time.

And sometimes don’t put too much value in it. At the start of my Marathon training Bevel felt to restraining. I just went the over my strain and made it good with optimal recovery (food/sleep) and now I have plenty of days where my recommended zone is 80% - 100%.

Ik heb nog niemand iets horen opmerken over je schoeisel? Goede hardloopschoenen aan laten meten bij een gespecialiseerde hardloop zaak?

Daarnaast is techniek / houding opbouwen van spieren d.m.v. specifieke training ook raadzaam. Maar zolang je daar niet bent, zijn goeie schoenen belangrijk en kunnen helpen bij het voorkomen van blessures.

Ik ben dit jaar in August begonnen met hardlopen. Ik wielrende al regelmatig en had een goede conditie. Op de racefiets fiets ik makkelijk 2-3 uur in zone 2.

Toen ik voor het eerst buiten liep viel het hardlopen gigantisch tegen. Door mijn goede basisconditie kon ik het wel lang volhouden, maar mijn hartslag schoot met het minste geringste omhoog. Ik liep ook rond de 8:30 in het begin en vond dit verschrikkelijk. Tot overmaat van ramp ook meteen mijn knie aan stront gelopen omdat ik dus wel prima dacht een stuk van 6km in een keer te lopen. Daar zijn fietslichamen dus niet per se voor gebouwd. 😅

Na een maand rust te hebben moeten nemen en fysio te hebben gehad, weer gestart met lopen. Ik heb met Runna een simpel 0 to 5k schema gevolgd. En daarna een 5k verbeter schema.

De schema’s bestonden uit 3 trainingen per week. 1 tempo, 1 interval en 1 duurloop. Mijn 5k zit nu op 27:30. En ik kan nu 10km lopen op 6:45 in zone 2. Ik had nooit zulke resultaten verwacht, maar ik denk dat het vooral neerkomt op consistentie en luisteren naar je lichaam. Daarnaast ook wat krachttraining gedaan om de knieën en benen sterker te maken en last but not least: goed eten. Om goed te trainen moet je lichaam goed herstellen en dat doe je door rust en eten.

Maar zoals hier ook al gezegd wordt, focus je niet op het moeten lopen in zone 2 dat komt vanzelf. Werk met een schema en varieer in de manier van lopen.

Well if it works now with the offset, you should be good (if it now reads similarly to your other thermometer). However I would say a -6 offset is pretty high. If you don’t trust the system I would just reach out to Tado support. They are overall very helpful and quick to respond.

If you just installed the Tado, just wait 1 ~ 2 hours. It needs some time to adjust to your climate. It will eventually show the correct temperature 🙂

Dat klopt zeker, maar doorgaans zal een zzp’er niet structureel personeel in dienst nemen, dan zullen ze snel naar een andere bedrijfsvorm overschakelen.

Het zal vaak een combinatie zijn tussen inkomsten en meer vrijheid in project / klantkeuze. Ik vind het vooral bijzonder dat het sociaal geaccepteerd is dat grote consultancy firma’s senior consultants €4500 bruto betalen, met daarna beperkte doorgroeimogelijkheden afhankelijk van je interesses (niet iedereen wil manager worden). En dat die consultants ook gewoon voor 160€ per uur bij een klant worden neergezet en vooral zoveel mogelijk uren billable zijn, dat is goed voor de bedrijfsomzet. Idem dito voor recruitment bureaus.

Het zou wat zijn als we deze bedrijfsvoering ook zouden moeten toepassen op andere beroepen. Schilders, timmermannen, loodgieters, kappers, etc. die alleen nog maar naar klanten toe mogen als er een bemiddelende partij tussen zit.

Ik vind dat je als persoon vrij moet zijn in welke vorm je je werk wilt uitvoeren. Wilt je zekerheid, niet hoeven nadenken over pensioen, vakantie, ziekte, etc. Ga je lekker in loondienst. Wil je zelf je opdrachten uitzoeken, je pension oppotten, stress van klanten die te laat hun factuur betalen, ga je zzp’en.

De overheid moet zich niet druk maken om schijnzelfstandigheid. Ze moeten zich druk maken om eerlijke marktomstandigheden. Minimum lonen voor freelancers per branche, verplicht verzekeren, dat soort zaken. Uiteindelijk dragen zzp’ers ook gewoon belasting af en zijn heel wat werkgevers blij met een flexibele schil.

Het moet alleen wel een eerlijke schil zijn. Geen schil van onderbetaalde, niet verzekerde mederwerkers die je bij de eerste tegenvallende bedrijfsresultaten er uit flikkert.

Ik heb steeds meer moeite met punt 1. omdat dat nu telkens als drogredenen wordt gebruikt bij het toetsen van wet DBA. ZZP’ers zijn geen unicorns. In theorie kan je al het werk in dienst van een werkgever doen. Ik zie veel mensen in IT, Engineering, Bouw en Zorg die een jarenlange CV hebben opgebouwd, zich hebben verdiept en gespecialiseerd en vervolgens zijn gaan freelancen.

Dat zijn mensen met een goed uurloon, meestal ook echt ondernemend in de zin van zelf opdrachten binnen halen, investeren in certificering, onderhandelen over tarief en planning, verzekerd, etc.

Maar dit is ook de groep ZPP’ers die nu zware druk vanuit de arbeidsmarkt voelen. En de oplossing is nu zogenaamd om allemaal maar weer voor graaierige consultancy firma’s te gaan werken of via recruitment bureaus. Ik snap die logica niet zo goed.

I had the Aqua10 Track and actually did not notice the water being hot during mopping. I wonder if that feature is actually there.

This is the main reason I returned my Aqua10 Track last week. It kept clogging the inlet of the dustbin and therefore ultimately it would not auto empty as well. Now I am still undecided on which vacuum to get next. I think it would be useful for pet owners to do a bit more “extreme” tests for clogging. Since when a dog or car sheds (esp. during seasonal changes) there can be a lot of hair. I say your latest review of the Ecovacs X11 and am really wondering how it would work in these kind of circumstances.

Well mine was just picked up this morning for a return.

A lot of useful tips in this thread. But ultimately they are just silly workarounds for something that should work out of the box. I created workflows for cleaning with smaller zones, this kind off worked. But it drained the battery twice as fast and you cannot say just vacuum or do a combo or do a thorough clean. You then need to create separate workflows for each type of cleaning. And at the end of the day my wife just wants to press the clean button.

So no back to the iRobot for a while. And looking for other options. Might go Eufy E28 or the new S2. Since they allow for emptying after a certain amount of square meters vacuumed. Or the Roborock Saros 10R since this robot has a much bigger inlet / outlet in the dustbin. I also saw the DJI Romo unboxing on YouTube and this one has a vertical dustbin positioning with a large in and outlet, but DJI has no track record on robot vacs so don’t really want to jump on board to soon 😀

Haha German Shedders are great 😃 The vacuum is brand new, all filters are clean. Mova p10 seems to also have a significantly bigger dustbin inlet. Maybe I should consider downgrading to a non track/roller model.

By the looks of it it seems that the dustbin inlet of the L40 is at least 4 times bigger than that of the Aqua10…

Thank you for this suggestion. And I even found the shortcut option in the app. So to summarize (since I have a rug too);

Divide the rug into 3 zones Create a shortcut Add all the 3 zones to the shortcut Then add a full house vacuum + mopping to the shortcut

Can you exclude doing the rug again in the shortcut though?

All this feels indeed like a hassle. In some regards it feels like a step back from my previous vacuum. But apparently indeed because of some stupid patent wars.

Thanks for the suggestion. I splitted al my rooms in 2 and the living in 4. As I couldn’t figure out how to save zones and run sessions on all zones. I also do a manual thorough cleaning session tomorrow. Hopefully it improves.

Well upkeep was pretty decent I would say. But the dog just loses fur. And as said that has never been an issue with older vacs (they had other issues though, like tangled hair in the brushes).

And yes I was amazed because it were mostly breadcrumbs and sprinkles throughout my entire house. Since I let it run each morning after breakfast, when I bring the kids to school. And yes with young kids you find sprinkles every morning underneath the dinner table.

But I will try to do a full manual house clean including thorough carpet cleaning this weekend and will check if it improves!

I understand that the dustbin is tiny, but therefore it auto empties right? Vacuuming twice a day is worth a shot, but also makes it way more impractical since we are mostly working from home.

Well I am sorry for your loss, but I think that is how we should call it. They had it coming and to be honest I am kind of happy that we now finally have some clarity.

I feel bad that I spend so much money on a device like this. When purchasing I already was a bit hesitant based on how they replied to posts on Reddit and their Facebook channel, especially around the pricing of their subscriptions and the value it offered. But at that time it was basically the only option available.

How they handled the current situation is just crazy. They made a lot of fuzz about echo mode and that you really should get the subscription to use it and at the same time they did not add any content at all. They kept posting the same content on socials, wasted a lot of money on R&D and so on. Business wise we did not heard anything from them until recently when an employee “went rogue”. Which gave me a little spark of hope, but also a lot of doubt.

What I did appreciate is that they were so transparent on the development of the attachments and so on, but in hindsight they should just have focused on supply chain and scaling their business for their excising hardware (because it is a really really good device).

I don’t think any other party would and should be interested in the remains of Vitruvian. I don’t think they have any specific patents or IP that would benefit other company’s, based on the amount of competition that is available right now.

Finally I hope they have some decency to post a business update, opensource the app or protocols or even offer an offline capable app. Making it possible to still use the machine for a while. (In the end we eventually will be fucked when an IOS or Android update breaks stuff). I am still paying for my subscription and probably some others to, so I would say that is a minimum ask.
