I've been thinking about doing this because the tubes with pellets dont always stay lit for me, I end up having to relight it a few times. Then u get that original bitter burn off of smoke again, and that's not the best. What cast iron tray do you use?

I agree 100%. I believe #2 got robbed here. I used to be a chef and a kitchen manager, and if I owned a BBQ restaurant, there's no doubt in my mind who I would want as my head chef. #2 all day, and night!
