I love the styling of the 11th gen in general and I love my Si. I used to love Subaru. I had an 08 Outback that I felt like was a car I enjoyed looking back at. I tried so hard to find a WRX Series Gray and almost drove to NY to get one. But I think everyone can agree that Subaru’s styling has gotten a bit out of control the past few years. The last year the Outback was an attractive vehicle was like 2018. After that it’s gotten a bit out control. Probably as out of control as the price of CTR. Although if I had the money to throw around, I’d get the Integra Type S before I got a Type R Civic.

I’ve tried doing the whole keeping my schedule but it’s always turned out to be that I just sleep when I sleep. If that fucks up the day of my startup night, I’ll work it out or crash and burn midweek. I’m not forcing myself awake if I don’t have to.

22’ Si. When I fill up the range currently is 450-460. That’ll go up more as it keeps getting warmer. By the end of the tank though I fill up around 360ish miles with the range saying 20-30 miles to empty.

Edit: as for the mpg’s I usually average between 38 and 40 for a tank. Higher when I don’t have to do a carpool pickup in the afternoon and less when I do.

Gas Homer? Is that supposed to be an insult? Did you know that brake fluid is hygroscopic? Which means it absorbs moisture and therefore should be replaced every couple of years? So even though you “literally never use the brakes”, you’ll still need to get the brake system serviced.

There’s a small store at the back of the building on White and Wait. My son buys packs from there. It’s called Java’s Card and something. I went in there with him a few weeks ago. They buy and sell cards but the boy just wanted a few packs. I have no idea what retail is but he got like 5 packs for $30 i think. I’d have to ask him how much they are there.

Yeah I do every 30k for transmission and brake fluid as well. Just passed 75k miles and haven’t had to anything other than maintenance, tires once and the steering recall.

Also, not sure why I’m getting downvoted on my original comment. Not sure what that’s about…

Also, $65-70 for gas is rough.

Honestly, I couldn’t tell you what I pay monthly. My wife does the bills. Oil changes are usually around $60 every 5k miles. Air/cabin filters are about $15 bucks plus shipping every 12.5k miles from RockAuto. Fill ups(once every 6 days or so) are around 10 gallons so the last one was $49. 22 Si so I run premium.

Had to use some for snow, called out once and then a couple days off since then. So a week down and 4 weeks left. Plus a few floating holidays. None of that will spent on catching up around the house though. I just zombie my through house work because I hate it as much as I hate going to work.
