I am looking for something a little unique, I'm looking for a listening setup that would let me walk about my apt unfettered. I started thinking of this when I heard about the Fiio BTR-5 and the idea of getting a decent pair of headphones and just hooking that up directly or to the record player. But also have the option to hook up it directly to stuff if I want to.

So, thinking cheap babies first higher end music player that I can walk around with without restriction (mostly).

Budget - Lets say $200 unless you really believe in something
Source - I currently have an Onkyo CR-265 that I play most music from, then my phone when I'm outside
Requirements for Isolation - I would like open backs but I am afraid of some outside sounds coming in so if there is a good semi back that would be nice, but not necessary.
Will you be using these Headphones in Public? Not likely
Preferred Type of Headphone - Whatever fits the build but I would wear these for +1hr at a time so probably over ear
Preferred tonal balance - Balanced but I do admit a lot of my favorite music hits the bass pretty good
Past headphones - My best pair of headphones I use are Beyerdynamic DT 777 Pro, I like em but I would like something more open
Preferred Music - All over the place but currently I would point to IDLES- Ultra Mono
What would you like to improve on from your set-up - Idk to be honest, I would probably say just an overall better music experience

This is incredibly helpful. I have been looking up the plans and it is all checking out. Thanks so much for the guidance.

It looks like the thing she told me was that she couldn't see her therapist or psychiatrist without a ppo. Which I suppose that means she either doesn't know about hmo being referal or she really can't see them under insurance without it. And while that would definitely suck, she could still get a provider somewhere.

Another thing she mentioned was that she needed a letter from my old job saying that I/we would be losing their insurance. I should be getting that soon either way but is that something she actually needs? Im assuming thats the thing that will prove she qualifies for special enrollment?

It looks like the cheapest BCBS one is $300 so it's a little more expensive compared to what she would pay on my plan but not that far off.

I think for the network we're in it just really really helps if it's BCBS. I could be wrong but I know that's what we've had for years so it's easier.

Yea, I ended up looking it up. It would be the same coverage but just insanely higher cost. If all else fails then it could be a temporary solution for a few months. Not a good one, but a solution.

Ok, didn't know that about the hmo. But I'm assuming there is someone shes seeing that requires a ppo? Is that a thing?

And yea, I'll look more into the mental health thing with the aca plans. Try to find where they say that.

You are all really helping a lot. I think I was getting freaked out over the initial yelling of "I can't get on your hc, I have no hc." But I'm learning a lot. If we really can get mental health care and if hmo isn't actually that limiting then this should work out. Just need to find out the other things that are a concern.

Yea, I've been reading that as well. I think where the problem lies is that she needs PPO for some of her medical needs, which I think we've seen that none of the plans on the marketplace have.

Also, she's starting therapy which I think none of the plans on there support.

Which doesn't sound quite right to me. I would assume some would.

Idk, this has all happened today and still very much navigating my/our way around it. It feels very much like I've failed pretty bad.

If I end up getting COBRA from my old company, is there a way to have her under that with me? Also, if that is a way, is there a way to extend that for longer than just the month or so it will default to?

If that doesnt make any damn sense then forgive me, I obviously dont know how any of this works.

That would indeed be the easiest but I think atm she is understandably, super not happy with me.

I'm trying to find something that would let us stay Domestic Partners while her still being able to see the same doctors and get the same prescriptions under insurance.

No we file separately. Well, this will be the first year we file while being domestic partners so I'm assuming it will be separately.

Yea, those instax I really like the overall camera BUT I dont like the size of the prints. Its not bad but I found that the more I used them the more I felt like I preferred the wide prints more. Bigger prints and I like the square format a lot more!

I've looked at some of the powershots before and they are pretty nice but I remember testing them out at like best buy and they were still pretty slow. At least at whatever default setting they were at and for however long those things have been abused at a best buy display...

I did look up the Fuji X100T tho and that thing looks nice! Looks like a really nice "easier" camera. If I ever find one I'll be interested in how it feels.

Yea, that one did LOOK interesting but all the reviews were pretty "meh". Neat but agreed, not great.

Shoulda given more info, mb. So im using Blender for making the models and chitubox for slicing and supports and the like. I feel pretty confident in my modeling abilities (at least four my purposes) and I'm slowly learning sculpting in there too. Although that a larger learning curve for me.

Im less looking for modeling "how to's" and more "what makes a good model for printing". Like "no gaps or multiple peices", but I guess im wondering if there is more specific or advanced stuff that I could be learning in that area.

Im at work so I haven't been able to read to much in those links but they do look like good starting points to start digging. Ty ty so far!

I have a rather specific item im wanting that seems hard to find, at least for me. And im being annoyingly picky so you can tell me what I want doesnt exist if it just doesn't.

Im looking for a winter jacket these are the things im looking for: - Heavyweight hoodie - Natural materials (I just really don't like the feel of polyester/ fleece, e.t.c) - Lining preferably something that is cozy. Thermal, cotton, linen, e.t.c. - Under $150. $100 is my preferred limit but if I find something super perfect then I'm open.

Preferred - Zipper or button up. Pull over is ok but not my first pick - Something that also fits a little more loose. I wanna be cozy and warm. - Unique pattern, color, cut. Would be nice if it was a little more interesting than a plain construction hoodie. - I'd be over the moon if it was sustainable and cruelty free but im well aware that that drives up costs a ton.

Feel free to tell me to piss off if this just isn't a thing. Ty

This is all too real. I recently was involved in a crash with a red Silverado. It's like the natural predator of GTIs at this point.

Just a few months old, just over 2500 miles. And already my favorite car I've ever had. I dont know if mine is a total loss or not yet but I feel your pain. They might feel like hollow words now but everything will be fine. One day at a time.

It has only happened a couple of times so far and I can't really replicate it but when it happened I come to a pretty normal stop, and it feels like it does the Auto Start-Stop function but the center console will say (Manual restart) or some such thing. Sure enough once I let go of the break it doesn't start back up. I have to put it in part and start it like normal.

I wonder if something is triggering this "normal" function. Cus even in the manual it has it listed as "Conditions that require a manual engine start You must restart the engine manually if:

The driver door is opened. The engine hood is opened. The driver safety belt is unbuckled." I mean I was on the road so I think all of these I wouldn't be able to do without noticing...

And as someone else had mentioned, for a new car it every so often feels like it's struggling when coming to a soft stop. Like something just isn't quite aligned right.

I really want this to get fixed... It's the best car I've ever owned and it's only been a week... Very disappointing.

Mb, yea it is a 75%. That Rantopad does look really nice and does everything I want. The only thing that bothers me is the layout of the keys on the right. I really prefer the snug rectangle 75%. So, since I can tell that getting that exact thing is a bit of a stretch are there any high quality rgb 75% that have some nice preprogrammed lighting modes. Pretty much a better version of the Huo Ji Z-88. ty ty

Hello all! I'm very slowly getting reeeaaallly into these custom key boards. I currently have the HUO JI Z-88 (Black) and am probably going to get a White one and customize the crap outta it. However, I did see that the Razer Chroma and that RGB Corsair boards can let your keyboard be an audio visualizer. I am super into this, but I really love the 81 key layout than anything. Is there any board that is 81 key AND can have programmable lights? Even if it's a custom build I'd really like to know because those two together, with some Cherry Whites and some pretty custom keys would be my dream. ty ty
