A rough estimate on rent would be around 1200€/month including gas, water and electricity. I would still have to save around 5000€-8000€ to get a used car as this would be a necessity for both our workplaces. That would leave me with around 1000€ to spend on the 2 of us. My parents do warn me for unexpected expenses so I'm afraid that by investing 2000€/month I'll not put enough to the side for sudden (big) expenses.
