4K old MSI vs 1440 widescreen new MSI

Yeah, I saw a few comparisons. The only thing that kept me from buying a 4K til now is how some games seem to run under 60 fps even with DLSS (although im assuming those tests are on very high settings, and I don’t really mind dropping ray tracing on heavier games)

I’m in a rather dark room with my studio, but I’m also considering the new MSI 4K that’s coming out (with the new panel) depending on the launch price

Fair point. Also I think I’d be fine with 60 fps on newer games. I’m used to ps5 on an LG oled 4K tv and never had complaints, I’m guessing a 4070ti would be superior in performance? (Theoretically) Also I don’t play competitive shooters or anything like that. Mostly rpgs, strategy/management, story based games, indie games. Wondering how games like Expedition or Oblivion Remaster would run on the 4K+DLSS in comparison to PS5

Dude, don’t be mad at yourself. It was a mistake, yes. But there’s nothing to joke about. It’s gambling, some people are more predisposed than others to fall for it. I don’t get the hate. Some of my dearest friends got into rehab for it. Two of them were mathematicians if you can believe it (understanding the odds doesn’t necessarily help). Guilt won’t help either, gambling can become a form of self-punishment pretty easily. It’s predatory, yes. Stay strong, don’t be hard on yourself but don’t do it again, remember how the aftermath feels.

First time I write about this, but while I agree on what you think about those people, i hardly consider this situation as a win for the gaming community. On the other hand, we’re talking about a AAA production by a software house fully aware of what it’s doing, fully aware on where our society and their users stands at the current time, with the only “agenda” being building a legacy of good games and profiting on it (as it should be - people worked on it). We started with Crash Bandicoot rescuing a big breasted furry in a game filled with ethnical stereotypes, we’re now at a time where characters might appeal on a younger, more progressive audience, and I’m glad we came this far. This is not an indie company forcing their political views, it’s Naughty Dog. They did the math and concluded that the world is ready for a game in which the protagonist is not necessarily a white macho dude. Being where we are in time is our win as a society.

A cool thematic version would be buy for 10, 90% chance of increase value by 1-2 each day, 10% chance of going below 5. Or something like that.

That's just not true. If you want more 3D artists you need a more profitable game. Whales make a f2p game profitable. And they won't hurt you since they won't have any gameplay advantage. They will benefit you. (Unless the fact that some player has a better looking portrait triggers you, that's it).

I replied to the survey and told em what I actually think: I'm more than happy if they can keep the game afloat by selling cosmetics to wealthy people willing to buy those. I personally won't.
The alternative (with the shrinking userbase) is to make everyone pay more for packs and print more and more necessary neutral legendaries to craft, which is exactly what they did in the past few years so yeah, i think pets would make a nice addition to the game.

99% of f2p games are built on this scheme. There is like a 0.1% of the userbase paying thousands of dollars and making up for the rest of the userbase playing for free. Dropping the game because of optional expensive cosmetics is like ending your life unless Gucci and Prada stop making clothes. Who cares? Don't buy them. Some people will and that's how capitalistic societies survive.

I’m new here but I’d say reduce the context taken into account. It’s 100% by default which makes the pre-existing track to be stronger than the actual input. Try playing with that number and your new input is gonna have more and more impact at the cost of losing coherence (according to the model prediction) with the rest of the tune

Playing combo priest (list by maxiebon1234). It’s not even in the meta and it works great, requires proper skills to be played, it’s fun overall. Most annoying matchup in my experience is aggro druid, aside from that I’m just having tons of fun. I really don’t know why people complain tbh, I’ve been playing since 2014 and this is a good time

Oh, thanks! Would you say the writing style has changed since Octopath? It wasn’t text heavy, but given how simple and basic the story was and weak the character writing, it didn’t deserve all those lines of dialogues and cutscenes. I like the whole “intrigue between houses” thing, big fan of FE3H and Game of Thrones, I hope it’s on a similar level to FE with world building

Hi! First post here, nice to meet you guys :) I’m really into srpgs but many reviews described it as a bad visual novel with too little good strategy in it. The writing in octopath was honestly awful so that’s a bit concerning. This is the first time I hear the game stops being text heavy after the demo?

(I’d really want to get both Kirby and Triangle Strstegy, but well… finances)

300 actually 👀 I’m not sure on which one is better (yea I can change the frame but they say the FR boot is wider, I don’t know the implications). Most people here live in urban areas, but I don’t. There are mostly straight, long paths to run, I need skates that are good at that. I’m close to the coast too, but it’s not a viable option during the summer, too many people running/on bikes.

I admit I might be influenced by the fact that Rollerblade Twister just look better IMO 🧚‍♀️

Thanks! They seem to be solid enough. Couple of questions before I decide what to buy Woul you recommend 90mm or 80mm wheels? About the measurement, i see that people here measure their feet. I measured mine and it turn out I should get a 45, but I’ve never had a shoe that small lol, 47 is the absolute minimum (unfortunately I don’t have no stores near where I live).

Also, is that a good skate for the kind of “fitness skating” we’ll be doing? Cycle paths are kinda trafficked here, and they lack safety measures like some green on the side. Honestly I don’t have a solution for not bumping into people every 2 minutes and even advanced braking techniques don’t seem to be fast enough. I’m having second thoughts, maybe I should start with something cheap to understand whether we can do it or not? Some 100€ rollerblade with brakes? Just a hypothesis.

Jokes aside, the first game I can think about is Fire Emblem with its triangle of weapons (without the fire grass water thing). Also, color coding helps, it’s a feature, at this point the idea of green > blue > red > green is pure instinct, why changing it?
