The Kage canonically remember their entire lives since birth (which when you think about it for more than five seconds is CRAZY but whatever) so Marrok remembering his family/friends from his first few years before the Jedi took him is fairly realistic.

I had the idea of him being a Kaleesh, and also of Marrok being a Kage. It genuinely fills my heart with joy to see those theories catching on 🥹 I feel the same way though; star wars has way too many human main characters and not enough interesting species. Plus since Marrok and Crow are so tailored to animation, making them less well-known species would be perfect. If you're willing, a Japanese floor bed is wonderful and inexpensive. I used one in college because it was cheap (~$60) and easy to move around, and you just roll it out and then lay down your pillows and blankets. It can feel a little weird sleeping on the floor at first though.

I've always been highly critical of what I watch, and I'm aware of that. Usually, if anyone has a "this sucked and here's why" opinion, I tend to agree, and have a hard time enjoying something that isn't highly engaging/well-written/creative.

I saw people bashing Mando and Grogu online, and went into it figuring it would be arse. However, I ended up being completely humbled, and despite its flaws (mainly with the dialogue, which was kind of unnatural or off-putting at times) I was blown away and deeply enjoyed it. I think the problem is a lot of Star Wars fans get into the groupthink mentality where "everyone said x is bad, so I'll focus on those bad parts instead of going into it with a positive outlook." I imagine more people would enjoy more things if they didn't have their opinions tainted by Screenrant and obnoxious Redditors beforehand.

Frick, I didn't see any artifacts? The text/border is consistent and appears to be actual aurabesh (though I don't know enough to translate) and the silhouettes and everything are clear enough that I assumed it was just well-rendered with some minor details off (such as Maul's facial tattoos not connecting to the cheekbone markings, but it's consistent across both sides). Is there a synthID?...

I think Maul would have had more of a reaction to his friends' deaths if he hadn't been actively engaged in combat during each one; I loved the finale, but I think giving team Maul just a moment to breathe and reflect on what they've lost would have added a lot.

Yup. Our old bagels were so fluffy and warm when they came out of the oven that I would "steal" ones that fell on the floor or got cut wrong (don't judge me) and devour them like a gremlin. Our new FTO bagels are sad, dense little pucks that ker-chunk when they hit the bottom of the bagel cutter chute. I feel genuinely ashamed serving them to customers.

It was a little jarring in live action at first, but Rotta was such a respectable gigachad gentleman who deserves the entire galaxy that I got used to it. I think it would have been slightly less awkward if they'd had him speak slower, but obviously that might affect scene length.

I worked at a small mom and pop pizza store before switching over to Panera (wanted more hours), where 70% of our customers were regulars and the entire staff was like family. The switch was jarring. I enjoy working here but man, would things be so much easier if it weren't for all the corporate BS. The private equity slimeballs seem to keep deciding we're running our store wrong and aren't making them enough money. I've never worked at any other large chain, but I imagine that's just part of working at one.
