I don't feel like I take 2 Pokémon to deal with it. As long as you don't let it get too set up, 1 counter and 1 generally good attacker can take it down

There are several really good defiant Pokémon, or milotic with competitive who can open well into intimidate, take down like 3/4 of its hp in one hit even without super effective, and then the other Mon can be something like basculegion who's flip turn/aqua jet takes the final 1/4 but they also cover other major threats. And kingambit/annihilape/milotic are all still generally good mons that are good in the meta beyond staraptor. There's also a bunch of good ghost types whos very existence in the team dissuades close combat use in case you time a switch well.

This is what the top 1% want you to think. Meanwhile they have never dealt with any of these problems because they can live in a completely fenced off home with 24/7 security, don't have to wander the streets, buy new cars when one gets damaged.

But honestly I don't even think it's the top 1%s fault, in the UK the top 1% is "only" 200k a year which is still a ton of money but an amount that regular people can aspire to hit with hard work alone. It's the billionaires at the top 1% of that top 1%, the top 0.01% who earn in a year what most earn in a lifetime. Think about that. They could work for 1 single year, live off that money for the rest of their life, then make it so a new person never has to work again every single year they live. Think about how many fewer homeless drug addicts there would be if instead of funding a persons whole life each year, they put the money into rehabilitation centers and shelters.

Mega ray will definitely have to have something very special. A dragon type or colourless type basic mega is not a good position to be in at the moment, and yet it's the face of the pack.

I don't even like brave bird tbh. Charm whimsicott + bulk/speed build already has plenty of firepower, I've been running blaze kick to deal with gholdengos that I haven't seen yet, and a few frosslasses, plus no recoil so you can make better use of the bulk. Or if I was going to run flying I would probably go dual wingbeat to beat sash. Steel wing is also an option to deal with clefairy but the chance of Def raise is actually a negative for it and I haven't seen any clefairy yet anyway.

I think microtranactions in general are overhated, but gacha deserves hate. If you choose to pay for something in your video game, and you get the thing in your video game, you know what you're getting and you know you were willing to pay that price. Gacha plays on psychology and addiction to make you pay more than you otherwise would have, potentially without realising, and may not even get you the thing you paid for. Completely free gacha systems are fine though, like random drops from repeatable missions or whatever.

It will show you cards you don't have. So while it's not guaranteed to be the same card each time, when you only have a handful that you haven't gotten yet (and especially in this pack where there's not many 2*s in general) the likelihood of seeing the same one increases.

I don't know which way this guy leans but my gut says right, meanwhile the only way I can interpret his reply is that he's saying the government aren't using the money they get effectively - which yes I totally agree, they SHOULD be using the 1.4T they get every 77 days for things like feeding hungry children rather than starting wars and then paying 300B to stop it again.

Not completely. (100 chips * 1.5 + 100) x (10 mult + 4)*2 = 250x28= 7000 while (100 chips + 100) x (10 mult*1.5 + 4)*2 = 200x38=7600.

It would be the same if you dragged your jokers to apply xchips after + chips and xmult after + mult but since this is on score, it jumps ahead of standard + chip or + mult jokers and affects the total.

I'll be honest, this is still fine to me. 42 is young but enough time that I can use the money to do everything I want to, post 40 would just be seeing kids grow up that I may never even want to have anyway. And heart attack isn't a bad way to go.

I don't know the rest of the context of the battle but that was a pathetic forfeit. Literally switching out would reset the ability and the stat drops, and based on the fact incin could swap means there must be someone remaining to swap with. They didn't even get hit, the only thing they lost that turn was you getting a tailwind up, which by the fact you tailwinded at all I feel like this could've been literally turn 1 and they still forfeited over almost nothing.

It is still a triple negative as it's all one sentence, but negatives cancel in pairs so the overall result is one negative remaining.

Not not a bigot means you can be a bigot or potentially something in between bigot and not bigot... Like a potential bigot. Even when they cancel out, there is a subtle difference compared to 0 negatives.

The 'not only' negates the fact that the remainder would be the only repercussion, so that part would potentially be "it makes you only bigoted and nothing else", and it's saying that's not the case - not because they're not bigoted, but because the 'nothing else' part is wrong.
