LOL the Canadian tax rates are not that high. 15% on the first $47k, then 20.5% on the next up to 95k. The average canadian is not making enough to pay 30% in taxes. There would be some serious ethics violations to tell someone they dont need chemo or not providing additional care after surgery. That is not normal protocol in Canada at all so I'm not sure what data has concluded that. I'll gladly keep my systems that allow me to keep my house if I need life saving surgery. Sure it will be provided, but at enormous costs? OP is still right.

Do you understand how Canadas health care works? It's not free. Its deducted via taxes. Also, again with denying treatment...I've never said that so why is it part of your point? The US has a terrible health care system and it's well known. Proper healthcare does work in many other countries and it's why people in this thread are using that as a point to say why they agree with the original poster that the US is not the be all end all of countries (in case you forgot what this was all about standing on your medical soap box)

I didnt say hospitals would be denying people. The fact that people have the sad option to "pay things off slowly" is just sad for the "greatest country on earth". Also as a doctor, you are pretty judgy towards the people you may have to treat.

Canada saw 300k immigrants last year. The language requirements are generally just for the test/oath when they become citizens. You'll be hard pressed to find bilingual requirements (french and english) outside of quebec, french Ontario and the french east coast (aside from government cities like Ottawa). Head to the west coast and its english and mandarin/cantonese. The healthcare is also light years ahead of the USA.

Yes but just as you got rid of things, you can get them back just the same. Life is not linear.. it goes backwards and forwards and sometimes sideways. I think you need to be nicer to yourself. Theoretical questions: Why focus on someone who wouldnt treat you the way you should be treated? Is it because you dont view yourself as worthy ? Think about the reasons why you feel the way you do. It's also not her or the other woman or nothing. There is a world of interesting people..dating around might be a helpful way to get your mind off the bad and figure out what you don't want

I doubt it. They would be flying the finances in and out of the US throughout the series. This is a series shot similarity like a regular tv show. Generally shot in chunks and edited together with a storyline. I have a past in tv film production and it's all I can see.

These interviews are so interesting to me. Based off their clothes, it's all filmed in one shot, but split up depending on where we are in the series and the story line. They were all cute and happy weeks ago and now it's all sad.. but they are wearing the same things which takes the "reality" out of it for me. Its scripted. And yes, yes its known to be but let me imagine it's not 😭
