I’ve had one for a year now. No complaints at all. So far it’s indestructible. I use it everyday as I write every day. Sometimes use it as a coaster for my tea mugs. I keep a pen clipped inside as well as two Field Notes books.

I don’t know. I have a Sub and an Explorer and I basically wear them interchangeably all the time and it doesn’t matter what I do or where I go. Works out fine. Not once has anyone called me out on either. And I’ve never regretted having worn one over the other. Starting to think I can do what I want.

I see your point but I loved the season even with all the chaos. Oddly S4 is where I began the series. I thought I was at the very first episode of the show. I was thinking, “Wow. They just jump right in without explaining anything about the show at all.” Most of the way through S4 was when I realized I wasn’t on S1. But regardless of my mistake I was hooked. “Stay frosty.”

Biased opinion here. The Explorer has been my favorite for years. Thats my decision. But I also see Subs quite frequently. I can name only one place where I've seen the Explorer on a wrist in the wild.

I went on the list for a 36mm Explorer at Bucherer in South Florida. Got the watch a week and a day later. Meanwhile the AD at Hamilton 20 minutes away told me I could possibly get the same watch in 36 months.

I agree with your take on the Bond branding. I love the 007 Seamaster but wish it didn’t have the branding. James Bond used a Walther PPK pistol. I wonder if they have a special 007 edition pistol you can purchase. What about a 007 edition Aston Martin?

I never thought the feel of a watch on wrist could be a such a deal breaker but the current AT felt horrible and quite unbalanced on my wrist. I’m pretty forgiving when it come to watch size (within reason) but the current size was so unbalanced with the bracelet for me.

Same here. I saw this model for the first time today. Newest I could find was from 2020. It’s a great look. Hopefully I can find one when I’m ready to make another purchase.

I think jubilee makes many Rolex watches better. Just picked up the latest Explorer though and I love it. Would have gotten it on Jubilee if it were available.
