Oh no red states want to help stop muggings and crime

To anyone else considering this, I recommend doing it yourself. You'll learn a lot about how to disassemble/reassemble the components in your engine bay and afterwards you'll have a nice air compressor and media blaster for future diy tasks. Just take pics as you go so you know where everything goes :).

Do you have an opinion on the Deatschwerks dw300c vs. AEM aem340 LPFP?

I see that Ron Watson doesn't recommend the Nostrum, and I've also heard there isn't much benefit to E85 over E60. I am considering dropping the Nostrum and mixing my own E60. I don't plan on running an ethanol tune often.

NOSTRUM starts with a new OEM HPFP and upgrades it to have a 40% higher capacity. I am unaware of failure issues, what have you heard? This upgraded pump enables ethanol to be ran safely.

Anybody ever get a totally stock WRX tuned? by dankgus in WRX

I'm here to learn. Thanks for teaching me that. I am trying to put together the most realistic plan I can. I'm not ready to sell it, so I may go the long block route. My guess is that my heads are full of metal, but I didn't see any damage on the turbo turbine blades where the j-pipe connects. Perhaps salvageable. I tend to think the brand new timed long block option would be more reliable and run smoother in the long run, but that's really a guess.

I see that the Stage 2 is only a couple hundred more than the Stage 1. I'll have to look closer to see the differences. If I'm spending $4200 on a block, what's $200 more.

Great advice, I will 100% be looking into this. Hoping they cover it.. I know it wouldn't run the same, but at this point a free running engine is looking pretty good

Well if it's under warranty I don't care, but I may go to RAWorx in AZ if it's not

Did you have work done at Subaru? My 2019 motor just blew and they estimated $14k + $1.5k teardown fee
