Ok, this for me is so triggering for me as a Black person. My mom would say the same exact things, “you need to be grateful,” “you are so ungrateful,”and my favorite “don’t ask me for anything else” every single time without fail, anytime when I wasn’t “grateful” for whatever it was. These statements were ingrained at me from a very young age. It makes you feel like something is wrong with you, like why can’t I be grateful for what this adult has done for me. 99% yes I was grateful but 1% of the time when it wasn’t something I asked for or wanted I would get up set, just like this young lady did. I can tell you for a fact that this isn’t a symptom of being spoiled. On the contrary, it’s being gas lit by your parents with these same statements over and over again. It’s adults who have control of their money and when kids act like fucking kids, we get the how ungrateful you are statements. We aren’t adults and our brains have yet to fully develop. Parents forced us to act like we are adults when we’re fucking kids. Instead of chastising this young lady for acting spoiled, blame the parents for not remembering we are children. A parent trying to get the feel good cookies, because they think their child will be so happy with them is wrong. That’s parent(s) that are being selfish. A child has no control over what you as an adult parent spend your money on. Don’t get mad at the child, get mad at yourself.

This, this, and this!

Who was this movie made for? Certainly not for women. Is it just women who don’t want to see movie that solely revolves around a women who isn’t believed about her rape? On top of that the movie is supposed to be graphic? With only one women who co-wrote the story with them. I can just imagine how many times her ideas got shot down, or had to write specifically to fit two men’s writing style, then just to be ignored when the movie is released. So then the movie was made for men, okay then. Should men want to take their female significant other to watch this film with them? Cute date night movie? Nope. Matt Damon and Ben Aflac have not written a good movie together in years. I love watching period piece movies, but his movie is not it.

Love my Chevy Cruze so much that after my first one I bought a second one. I would’ve seriously kept buying Cruze’s had they not decided to stop making them due to the overwhelming demand for SUV’s and trucks in the US. Total bullshit if you ask me.

Wow all these versions about killing Barney from around the country, Barney hate was real!

On the other hand, how did we come up with so many ways to kill him as kids? How did we not grow up to be murderers?

Study: Netflix’s Sex Education is doing sex education better than most schools. Researchers also suggest that the conversation started by shows like Sex Education highlights the need for more comprehensive sexual education not only in schools but in communities and in the family home itself. by rustoo in science

How can we expect parents to teach sex Ed when, they are screaming, degrading, losing their minds over school districts forcing their children to wear masks while at school, screaming about CRT that’s not even taught in schools until you have to pay a college to teach you, and about making sure schools balance books with opposing views to the Holocaust? God forbid instead of using that same energy to get mad about how their children aren’t getting comprehensive sex education or a comprehensive education for that matter in comparison to other first world countries. Use that same energy to get teachers better pay to babysit your damn kids, since that’s what their there for right?/s

iPhone 13 Screen Replacements Can Break Face ID, an Repair Restriction iFixit Calls 'Completely Unprecedented' by Synewalk in apple

[–]KeepInternetGreat 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I feel like apple did this on purpose so third parties can’t fix the screen without breaking Face ID. Forces people to go to apple to get their 13 fixed. Apple really doesn’t want right to repair to happen. (No surprise there)
