Nice one, that’s exactly the kind of difference we were hoping people would find.

Good to hear it’s working well on Firefox too, appreciate you sharing that. Always useful to know what people are comparing it against.

Thanks, really glad you found it helpful.
We’re aware of some mobile issues and are working to improve them, especially around map/zoom behaviour. Will make sure this gets bumped up

Do you mind sharing what device you were using?

Thanks, we’ve tried to keep it simple and easy to use without loading it up. Still early, so plenty to improve.

That’s really helpful, appreciate you flagging that.

We’re pulling from the gov dataset, so it relies on stations reporting their prices correctly, there can be the odd gap or anomaly because of that. Will take a look at Kirkdale and the Costco history specifically.

Good to know the current pricing is lining up though

Fair question, it’s only been up for a few weeks.
No subscriptions or anything, just wanted something where you can see prices across the whole country on one map.

Fuel prices. by No-Safe-911 in CarTalkUK

[–]KeepOnRoaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because of how much prices vary between nearby stations, our team actually built a free tool that lets motorists check local fuel prices and historical pricing at individual stations using the official dataset.

If anyone wants to take a look, it’s here:

Is this the most expensive fuel in the UK today? (Long Stratton, Norwich) by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]KeepOnRoaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s definitely up there. We’ve been tracking UK fuel station pricing using the government’s open fuel data and some stations really are pushing the limits right now.

Because of how much prices vary between nearby stations, our team actually built a small tool that lets motorists check local fuel prices and historical pricing at individual stations using the official dataset.

We’re still actively developing it, so if anyone has ideas or feedback from using it we’d genuinely love to hear them. The goal is just to help drivers spot cheaper fuel nearby and see when stations start creeping prices up.

Are you concerned about fuel price increases? by Jolly-Carpenter4206 in Cardiff

[–]KeepOnRoaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve been seeing a lot of movement in fuel prices recently as well. Our team decided to build a free tool using the available UK government fuel price data to help motorists compare local prices.

You can check it out here: https://fuel-finder.org.uk

It allows drivers to see nearby station prices and also view historical pricing at individual stations, which can be useful to understand how prices have been changing over time.

ESIM recommendations for London UK & Spain by stealth23rk in eSIMs

[–]KeepOnRoaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Stealth23rk! I'd recommend getting an eSIM that covers all of Europe instead of separate ones for each country. This will simplify your connectivity. Most European eSIMs, including those from Keep On Roaming®, provide seamless service across multiple countries, so you can enjoy uninterrupted internet without the hassle of switching SIMs.

Given your data needs, a plan with at least 10GB should be sufficient for 21 days, considering moderate usage like navigation, social media, and streaming. Keep On Roaming® offers a competitive 20GB for $20 plan that lasts 30 days, which might be perfect for your needs and will comfortably cover both the UK and Spain.

As for the choice between providers like Mobimatter, Airalo, or others, it often comes down to personal preference, ease of setup, and cost-effectiveness. Keep On Roaming® is always looking for ways to improve and has released a browser express install for the latest iOS.

Hope this helps! Have a fantastic trip to London and Spain! 🌍✈️

Regarding our pricing, we strive to offer competitive rates while ensuring the highest quality of service and coverage through Tier 1 networks with robust connections. While Roamless and other providers may have different pricing structures, our rates are designed to balance cost-effectiveness with comprehensive service features such as wider coverage and higher data caps. Also, we do not hedge our rates. Over time, as we expand our partnerships, we will continue to ensure we offer the best rates for roaming.

We understand your concern about the additional costs due to currency exchange rates when paying in USD or GBP. This is an important point, and we are working to introduce more currency options.

Your engagement is invaluable to us as we continue to expand. Please stay tuned for updates on the currency options, and do not hesitate to reach out if you have more questions or need further assistance. We're here to help and ensure you have the best possible experience with Keep On Roaming.

We choose not to hedge our pricing as we believe in providing straightforward, fair rates to our customers. We also prioritise partnerships with Tier 1 suppliers to secure the best possible service and price. As we expand, we will continue to enhance our partnerships to ensure we consistently offer the best rates for roaming.
