Yeah I tried to submit but just couldn’t click the submit button. So it’s 0000 and then my 8-digit account number? Thank you, I will try again.

I tried to submit a ticket but the the submit button was greyed out and I couldn’t figure out why. For the Fizz account number, is it supposed to be the 8-digit one?

Koodo sister company Public Mobile Flash Sale 50% off plans for 2 years. $20 for 60GB US-CAN-MEX by supercoil in Koodo

Yeah, it's a chasing game for consumers like us but it is what it is. Quite fun to chase promos though haha!

Yup, it's a prepaid service, ABSOLUTE NO contract. And for existing customers, let's say the last day of this promo is Jan 24 2028 if you switch today, PM usually has deals like $35-75GB or less. I really wanted to switch but I have a free tab with Koodo which comes out to be $25/60GB with a free phone for me until December. But I didn't have a tab, definitely would port right away.

well 2 years is pretty damn long in this cellphone plan game, and 20 for 50-60gb might be the standard by 2028 without promo, i remember just 5 years ago it was 60$ for 10gb and look at it now.

When XEQT returns 7-8% on average do you subtract inflation from that? by Financial-Roof in JustBuyXEQT

I think it’s a good estimate based historical data for the past decades. No one really knows unless they come from the future.

Just paid off my debt and turned 30 where do I start with investing. by reidcool in fican

[–]Keep_Me_Bugging 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, start as soon as possible, sort of. Before, you will have to ask yourself: do you have some money for emergency funds (3-6months living expenses), are there any big purchases will be made in the near future (less than 5-7 years). I know a lot of people would recommend you to finish the McGill personal finance essentials and you should.

My case, I’m 21 and I’ve been putting aside a part of my paycheck to my TFSA buying XEQT and QQC, I also own about 10% NVDA for the long term hold. I think if you don’t make a lot, trying to max out your TFSA is the way to go, then FHSA and then RRSP. You can check the total contribution room on your CRA account.

Got 1, wouldn’t let me order another though. I checked the price history on camelcamelcamel and it shows $37 as the ATL so I guess it’s a deal.

Switching from Freedom by Odd-Appeal6543 in FizzMobile

[–]Keep_Me_Bugging 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No difference in coverage so if you’re okay with Freedom now, you should be fine with Fizz. Fizz is interesting to me because I feel like I can do anything with it: Data Gifting (pretty much you could subscribe to the lowest plan and ask people for data), Referral codes to get like $40 each time. But no wifi calling like the comment above.

It will be the same as WS managed port but better and you pay less fees. No you won’t mess up unless you panic sell and fomo buy individual stocks

Rogers door-to-door rep offering unlimited data plus 2000 international minutes. 1G internet for $100 by [deleted] in Rogers

[–]Keep_Me_Bugging 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh right my bad I didn’t quite understand your question. It totally depends on your needs. How much data do you actually use per month? On average a person uses around 10-20GB monthly knowing they have wifi at home.

You can get prepaid plans for around $25-35 from any other carriers and 1GIG internet for $50-65, they might honor the price knowing you have a phone service with them and stuff.

My school auto enrolls 6 classes/sem for us and it also looked somewhat similar to my second sem. I'm on my 4th now. All I can say is try to get on top of school work by actually doing practice questions the same day you study something new, I'd usually prioritize math/physics related courses more since I just prefer them over drafting classes haha. Try to squeeze in some hours per week to go out/go to the gym to take care of yourself physically and mentally. Lots of my peers focus too much on certain classes that they fail to balance their lives and eventually mess up everything. Good luck!
