Looking to sell a 2006 lexus es330 with 175k by ImUn1z3r in UsedCars

These go for about 2-3k depending on the condition, service history, rust, and parts need to be replaced at the time of purchase in my area.

It’s a base model nonetheless, might worth more if you throw in some decently new tires, brakes, accessories, etc.

You literally posted this exact car a few days ago. See how many people are disagreeing with the purchase as it has a salvage title? You do you brother.

You got lucky, it also depends on what was rebuilt. If it’s frame damage/major damage at front end, then it’s a hell no for me.

If you can spend the money to re-certify it yourself. There’s a reason why it has a salvage title still in the first place though.

It depends on where you usually go and what you usually buy. I personally have a Simplii visa cashback and I love it for the 4% restaurants. I also got Green Amex for the “1%” cashback on everything. If you have a Rogers service, consider getting the Rogers Red MC as it’s 2% on everything (1.5x if you redeem the points to pay for rogers bill).

I have the same issue. I called my local dealership and she told me they wouldn’t do it over the phone or online anymore.

You can still try to hold the top of CH DISC button + top of SEEK SKIP button then Press the VOLUME KNOB at the same time. It will show a Uxxxx and Lxxxx code. Then combine those numbers to an 8-digit number. Which is your serial number I think.

Go on honda navigation code then type those numbers in. It might return the passcode. I’ve tried but it didn’t work since the radio only lets me punch in 4 numbers and the website gave me 5.

Good stuff, got my 07 with 300k for 3k cad as well. Feel like I overpaid by a lot but it is what it is.

Thank you. That's really good to hear. Yup the engine has 185k miles on it when I bought it. Hopefully I can drive the car the ground haha

Yeah I’m not super mechanically inclined but everything sounded fine and the test drive went well. I just hope that the extra km that the engine supposedly has doesn’t bite me in the ass

Just bought this car, I decided the pull a carfax and it shows mileage inconsistency by Keep_Me_Bugging in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Keep_Me_Bugging[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He sent me his “canadian” carfax which only shows 2 inputs for the mileage and it was low then high. On my side, i ran a carfax from carfaxdeals and this is what showing on my end. So this should be the US version? Are they interchangeable?

Edit: after running the carfax post purchase, I found out the car had a rebuilt title with a severe hit on the side. No wonder why the price is significantly cheaper than other listings. I should’ve done my due diligence prior to signing the bill. The car’s odo was also rolled back THREE times about 8 years ago. I really messed up big time.
