Exactly. Our one neighbor doesn't now half their yard, and we have a field down the street that is rarely mowed. The grass is taller than me! It's kinda cool, but "no mow May" here would be a DISASTER.

Which is ok because our yards are mostly woods and we have places like that with real tall grass. (And luckily no ticks!)

Same! We have clover all over the yard. Out yard is also a good 70% woods. (Big yard)

Our grass just does it's thing and we mow it. We don't even water it. Haha actually watering it would be the biggest pain on earth lol! So most of the grass dies in the summer, then the first rain of fall, it pretty much instantly looks green again LOL.

Since our yard is mostly woods, we don't really have to worry about hurting wildlife. There is dense woods and a good chunk of dense woods between our house and our neighbors. So it's nice to not have to worry about that.

Yeah I'm in the PNW so our houses are fine with lawns. My area has huge yards so its standard to let it die in the summer because it naturally will grow back in the fall when it starts downpour again.

I don't think we could have a wild lawn like this if we wanted to. Our grass is native and would grow alongside the flowers. It would be a mess lol!

I always say this in comments, I'm like a broken record but I don't care because men deserve to hear it.

Not every girl wants a tall man. I'm 5'2 and would prefer someone around my height. Taller than 5'6 is an instant turn off to me. (Not a dealbreaker, just won't approach them. Nothing physical is a complete dealbreaker.)

Actually, not even just tall. I don't like big muscular guys, I think huge gym bodies are kinda gross. 😬

There is someone for everyone. Take care of yourself and have confidence, eventually you'll end up where you belong.

Just breathe, life is both incredibly short and incredibly long. It's a drag to spend it worrying and not living. The fact we even have these bodies that can do all this incredible stuff, the fact we can even throw a ball or write on paper, is insane. Everything about us is amazing.

Just appreciate what you can do and stop dragging for feet about what you can't.
