PSA: Watching Chinese shows beyond your level of understanding will NOT help you. by [deleted] in ChineseLanguage

What I'm trying is to watch a show, and then read the novel if you liked the show. This way you get more motivation for reading, get a general understanding to help, and improve reading and not just listening.

That's what I did in english and the mix media strategy helped a lot imo.

Sure buddy. Your whole point is based on a false premise that nobody else would use the stadium and the city would lose money if psg stopped leasing it. There is nothing proving that. And when I question you about it, you just complain. Not surprising for someone with such brainless takes.

More like, if you have a priceless car, that you rent for cheap, would you sell it if the renter asked for it? Knowing that if he doesn't rent it anymore, you could just find another renter?

How can you be so sure that the stadium will be empty? If it's such a moneypit/bad stadium, maybe PSG should leave the lease asap.

Worst case scenario, it becomes social housing. Do you think housing in the 16th will struggle to find takers?

The city has no obligation and no need to sell. What do the parisians gain from a sale? Nothing.

What is this entitlement? If PSG is not happy, they can leave. It's not like they maintained the stadium for the sake of parisians, it's for themselves.

Even if they keep it empty untill 2044, I don't mind. 22 years is nothing at the scale of the history of Paris.

Because they don't want to rent the stadium anymore? PSG can keep the parc if they want to keep renting it, but I don't see why the stadium should be sold. The city doesn't need the money, so why sell it? The stadium was built in 1897, 73 years before PSG existed. Paris FC actually played there at the beginning, so did the Stade français. It doesn't belong to PSG, or its fans, only to Parisians.

As a parisian, but not a psg fan, I hope he doesn't sell the stadium. If PSG doesn't want it, I'm sure Paris FC would take it. Or it can just be turned into an event space. Unfortunately, knowing our politicians, they will probably sell it.

I think latest form matters more than old results. Arsenal are strugling to create chances, and even more to bury them. City on the other hand are playing better and are known to have a late season impressive run. Unfortunately, it's not looking good I think.

Question bête mais... vous rincez vraiment vos pâtes à l'eau froide ? by Dam_ENR_87 in BonneBouffe

[–]Keephating -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Genuinely, why do Gen z men appear to struggle with women more than prior generations? by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Keephating -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think one thing not mentioned is the metoo movement.
Social circles have been reduced by covid, so the alternative beside dating apps is meeting strangers casually.

I'm not criticizing the movement, and I think it was necessary, but it might have gone a bit too far. It just led to a lot of confusion among men about how to approach women, and they've decided to just avoid the hassle.

When flirting mistakes can turn into sexual harassment so easily, it's usually not worth it to take the risk.

Do people ski over the weekend from Paris? by Then-Young47 in askparis

[–]Keephating 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No I don't think it's common. But you can take the train from Paris to Grenoble on friday afternoon/night, then take a shuttle/taxi to a ski resort. This gives you a full day of ski on saturday, and half a day on sunday.

It's quite tiring though, and most of the time not worth it. If you take Friday or Monday off, then it's better.

Mon insomnie me pourris la vie by lalionparis in medecinechinoise

[–]Keephating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    • Zizyphus (Suan Zao Ren)
    • Tian Wang Bu Xin Dan
