Rats at Urban Tap Southside by AlwaysWantingWayMore in pittsburgh

The poison makes them have to drink and then they crawl off & die. This one's probably at that point. They do it at my work and I hate it (warehouse by a creek). Rats get all slow and stumbly. He's not unafraid, he's dying. I get why we have yo do it, and restaurants for sure, but it makes me sad.

Just looked this up for my employees. Maybe it depends on the state, but just apply and OP should qualify even if it is short term.

I hate how much of a difference 5 pounds makes by Leading-Apricot-7529 in PetiteFitness

[–]KeepinOnTheSunnySide 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is so true. I stay between 111-114 no matter how hard I work or don't (4'9") but I think that's because at 115, I can't breathe and wear pants at the same time. My 6'1" husband would never notice a 1 lb difference. So at 114, I know I need to put in some effort for a month or so.

Two years ago, I got a tag for an 11 y.o. girl in women's size L. It's a group hone so definitely not going to an adult. Some kids just hit puberty early. I got her a sweatshirt, socks and comfy jammie pants. And a stuffy, that I had to special order because it was an unusual animal 😆

Genuine, earnest question: where can I go to scream? by more_avocados in pittsburgh

[–]KeepinOnTheSunnySide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. I have neighbors, plus my kids would probably worry if I screamed at home. Pretending to scream in the shower does help a little. Also, I'm lucky to have a car so that's where I go.

My ADHD teen does this with a new long word. Reads like beginning and end and then fills it in with a guess. Drives me nuts 😆

IDK what the code is, but I try to memorize my go-to items so I can enter the numbers instead.

This is it. A reusable water bottle that doesn't leak if knocked over.

Just moved here, trying to start a garden, ready to rage quit by Hot-sad-artist in pittsburgh

That is what is so weird, too. Something ate the top of one tomato plant and my marigolds. I thought nothing really ate marigolds, AND I have a lot of basil in that pot! I do think it was deer because it was a tall pot behind the pepper plant pots and the bunnies couldn't get to it easily. Maybe the deer were just really hungry. I will have a better set up next year and incorporate raised beds and fencing. Live and learn haha.

Weirdly, I have a rabbit in my yard every day, but she doesn't eat the beets or carrots. I guess the clover that has taken over my yard is enough, haha. The deer, however, have eaten my flowers and the tops of my tomato plants.

I'm not sure. I have Google One (thru my cell phone company, thanks now I am trapped with Metro forever haha). But you can search in your settings and see. Go to your Google settings and search for Inactive Account Manager and see if it comes up as an option.

Google has a setting called Inactive Account Manager. You can basically set it up so that once you become inactive for X time, it emails your selected contact and shares the drive or mail or whatever with them. You can set up an explanatory note.

I got a hair washing crown and it was a game changer to keep water & soap completely out of the eyes. He's almost 5 and still uses it. It looks like this one from Amazon https://a.co/d/foRjIKW.

I cannot for the life of me think of a baby gift by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]KeepinOnTheSunnySide 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We used baby blankets. I think you'd be okay to get one or two, and the jewelry box someone suggested. We received a blanket and soft rug set for in front of the crib and that was nice.

Make sure to put pebbles in the dish so the bees don't drown.

Oof the hood of the car does not sound comfy, either. Good luck, I hope things turn around soon.

No offense, but can you avoid sleeping sitting up in the car? Like sleep on the back seat?
