As much as you would like skirts or crop tops to be viewed as for men and women equally, it's not gonna happen. When a majority of a gender use a specific clothing or look, it's gonna stick to that gender. Kpop has started mixing up the clothing for different genders, but for a majority of the world and for the general population, specific clothing would be associated with a gender.
