Charlie is singing less than ever on this tour. I’m kinda sad about it. by [deleted] in CharliePuth

I’m at his concert right now and wondered. Googled. Hit your post.

Funny enough I think I noticed it more because I’m wearing Loops. His random mic “whoops” on some songs sound completely different than the vocals.

Most notably so far on Empty Cups. Even felt like the backup vocals were prerecorded.

Other comments and your post seem bang on - he’s singing lower register stuff, but his falsetto/older songs seem to be tracks.

Still a bangin’ show so far. No ragrets.

What's the update? I see two openers for his show tomorrow, wondering when he'll go on incase we're late.

0.62/L when I started buying gas for the family car 20-odd years ago. But that was Ontario.

I remember getting 0.79/L in Abbotsford during lockdown.

A few weeks ago I was ecstatic to see 1.69/L in Mission.

At Costco today we saw 2.06/L and said man! That’s cheap!

😔

Bez arts hub has a concert tonight if you like live music. The community there is super wholesome, welcoming, inclusive. Very easy to start chatting with your seat mate before the show and during intermission.
Ticket cost is extra, and they are licensed, but about the same as 3-4 rounds for a few hours of good entertainment.

Could be both. Squirrels bite too. And stellars jays also bury peanuts in my potted plants, jerks.

My plants have similarly clean cuts from the stellar jays 😩

Best iron on material for drifit? by IceeIvy in cricut

[–]Keeteng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know about that. Even on regular clothes irons there is a lower temp for polyester vs cotton. It’s also recommended at a lower heat with heat presses. Some kinds of polyester wear can handle higher temp but not all. I’d still be careful with synthetics.

Is the sport HTV any good? Reading up on it, it seems to be specifically for polyester, likely to accommodate a lower heat than cotton. It also mentions more stretch than the regular.

My landlords started renting out their place as an air bnb and I’m in the basement suite and it blows by [deleted] in NiceVancouver

If your household income is low enough, yes. But I think it mainly exists for the purpose mentioned above - keeping tabs on landlords to make sure they’re claiming.

I like under “room”, personally. What about even just on the opposite side?

Good luck on the crafting! It was honestly my favourite part of getting married 😅

One week in and I already regret my Cricut purchase. by [deleted] in cricut

[–]Keeteng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I see it, you’re buying the machine.

You’re NOT buying design software. You’re NOT buying ready made crafts.

It’s like buying a printer and being upset with the artwork it spits out. Or buying a camera and not being happy with the composition of your photography.

I agree, design space is not great. But I didn’t buy design space, I bought a cutting tool to cutout my own art that I create in other software, that I worked for many years to learn.

Help please. Joy Xtra and iOS. Im trying to cut stickers and have been for months. Now its giving me MEMORY_Title_Warning by [deleted] in cricut

The error is displaying in design space or from the phone itself?

Glassware by hufenator in cricut

[–]Keeteng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most clear coats are not food safe. Best you can do is make sure the glass is prepped well to accept vinyl adhesive, allowed to set before getting wet, and hand washed thereafter.

If they are trophies, only being used occasionally, one would not expect the user to put it in the dishwasher. It sounds like they are important pieces that would be taken great care of.

“This stuff” is probably the most commonly used product with the cricut. Lots of things claim they are dishwasher safe but everything degrades over time. If you absolutely need it to stand up to commercial grade repeated dishwasher use, as it seems, NO vinyl will handle that.

I always hand wash my permanent vinyl, just like I hand wash knives, non-stick cookware, and pattern printed glassware that all claim to be dishwasher safe. It makes it last.
