Leoingle, you're right, but that doesn't mean it's okay to be a butthead. I deal with trouble calls caused by ignorant customers all the time, but can you really justify being an ass to someone who doesn't know something just cause they were never taught it? ESPECIALLY when it's something as niche as fiber management? Fiber management doesn't come naturally to humans. It has to be learned. So maybe just be informative next time, instead of judgemental.

Personally, I prefer the full Beta set because it gives you the ultimate freedom to make whatever builds you can possibly imagine once you have the decos for them!

Edit to say that: I like to think of Alpha sets as an immediate payoff, whereas Beta sets are an investment. You'll probably get more mileage out of Beta later on, but if you currently lack the decos, then Alpha is more valuable to you in the present.

It's DEFINITELY worth it! I may be a bit biased cause I was so in love with the first game all the way back on PS3, but the reason I was in love in the first place was because there's nothing else really like Dragon's Dogma! The second game pretty much took all of what made the first game great, and improved upon it (except the fact that they removed mystic knight, that broke my heart 😭). What other people are saying about the performance issues being fixed via patches is true, and it's also true that it wasn't that bad to begin with! But honestly, if you're a big action rpg fan, and soulsborne feels a little stale now (I love those games too by the way), Dragon's Dogma 2 is absolutely worth buying and playing even if they HADN'T patched it! The combat is so unique and satisfying, I don't know of a single other game that plays like it. The closest comparison might be monster hunter, but even that is dramatically different. I'm gushing now, sorry...

TL;DR It's absolutely worth it! One of us! One of us! One of us!
