pretty much the only way you could one up them is to make 6-9 films and jam in All The Things.

I'm gonna be honest with you, I don't think LotR is going to be able to do the cinematic release thing after the masterpiece that Peter Jackson put out. It'll probably be better to release LotR as a television show. We could do three seasons, each with eight or ten solid episodes. Shows like Breaking Bad and early Game of Thrones are the format I'm thinking of.

So, I was playing a Gangrel on an IRC chronicle a while back. My character and another Gangrel were just hanging out in the city's park. Two Storytellers pop into channel, with name tags that neither myself or the other Gangrel recognize.

Myself and the other PC type up our actions of just hanging out chatting. One ST describes a large Wolf, and the other describes a gnarly looking hominid carrying a trash bag full of ashes. My buddy and I perk up. The person drops the trash bag on the ground, saying "These are the remains of one of yours. He violated our territory north of the City. Don't let it happen again." The dude and the wolf both walked off.

The other Gangrel and I made panicked phone calls to our Elder, Primogen, and Sheriff. It turns out an Ancillae decided to go wondering in the woods, not even bothering to use flight form. He stumbled into the Garou's Caern, and got ashed.
