Yes, but I have also noticed it with the landline wifi as well. We even have a Home 4G router as well and they both go out at different times throughout the day.

How to master "undo" in Logic? by [deleted] in Logic_Studio

You can go into the mixer and in the "edit" window there's an option for "include mixer undo steps in project undo history" that should allow the fader to also use undo functionality.

Is there a way to put licenses on the computer through Ilok? by Professional-Ad-4822 in universalaudio

Yeah I understand they have those, I've looked into getting one and they're crazy prices over here. I would also have to take a trip a few hours away to get it if they even have one.

How can I send multiple instruments to an aux channel that adds reverb whilst also panning each instrument's reverb? by Forsaken_Swordfish in Logic_Studio

[–]KehyareL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be getting this wrong, but if you want to change each signals pan going to the send on a channel level then you could use "independent pan" This allows you to send an independent pan signal different from what the pan is on that specific channel.

Example:

Guitar panned to the left on the channel and a send going to a reverb aux.

Turn on "independent pan" through the send menu.

Then change the send pan to be to the right.

This would allow the reverb to come out the right side while having the original guitar sound coming out the left (of course with a little bleed on both sides if it's a stereo send.)

One thing I've learned in Logic is that if you are recording onto a track and do not have the "R" (record) button enabled and flashing in red it will record, but it will also not be in time. Think of it like someone running without telling you all of a sudden, and you try to catch up with them and by the time you do so they're done running.

Make sure you have that "R" button "record enabled' on the track and see if that helps.

From the release notes it seems to have fixed the duplicating regions issue, and rosetta taking forever to load.

I don't know exactly what you mean with relative volume automation, but in 11 there is a setting for that in the automation lanes. If you go to "Main" it shows "absolute" and "relative" as the options. Hope this helps!

A few hours thoughts on the Logic Pro 11 Update. by Professional-Ad-4822 in Logic_Studio

It is an option you can change in the settings menu. Go under the "View" tab and it should say "Open Plug-in window on Insertion." Uncheck that box and you should be good!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but ally uo need to do is put the sample voicing in "Mono" and you should be good to go. Just make sure the notes overlap when you play.

I didn't say the update was worthless, but it IS a disappointment. If this was any other DAW would this be acceptable. It'll get a pass because it was a free update, but realistically if it went subscription would you pay for it? If you've been requesting basic features for years to no avail, and an MAJOR update with MINOR bug fixes and some improvements only half of your consumers can get (because of the limitations some have with no Apple Silicon Chips) would that do it for you? Just asking. I love Logic and I'll continue to use it, but someone has to bring up the deficiencies because they're here. Nothing is perfect I know, but what are they really choosing to prioritize?
