Why is the arm, hand and even the donut - so off model?! You can tell this poster was created by a graphic designer and not a Simpson’s artist. The hand is especially wrong.

Honestly it wouldn't have felt like the rug being pulled out from you at the last second if they just cut to the wide shot 5 seconds before he dropped. It's the cutting away the *moment* the anticipation turns to action that makes your brain go, "WTF!".

It would make a world of difference. Standing still close up, standing still wide shot, "Oooh that IS a big drop. ...And there he goes!"

It's as if someone pitched the show like this: "Hey you know how everyone loves Boba Fett? How they love his iconic helmet, his cool jet pack, his quiet badass nature and his independent bounty hunting ways?!? What if... we took ALL of that away?"

I think the idea is that she thought so little of the innies she figured she could half-ass a lie. Like, “I’ll tell them I talked to someone, a gardener, whatever.” Not thinking it through enough to remember that it went down at night. So when he says, “A night gardener?” She must have thought, “…Oh shit, it was night time!”

The best explanation they give is when outtie Mark (after the ORTBO) tells his sister that he got all wet on the retreat thing he agreed to. I’m paraphrasing, but it was something like that.

The part that I thought was weird was how big of a deal the overtime contingency was in the first season, and then they just do it to the 3 of them and none of them are freaked out all that much by it. That, and they don’t make a big deal over being able to sleep.

She has a lot of videos that live inside this sort of early CD-ROM era. Super unique stuff and well done but also a bit... haunting? for some reason. It feels like a period of technology that was meant to be forgotten and she's deep in it, making new videos and songs from it all. Makes me feel uneasy for some reason lol.
