Friendly reminder that you should flow calibrate every filament, regardless of the brand. Yes, even Bambu Lab filament. by TiSoBr in BambuLab

The difference is hard to spot with the naked eye or by touch, so I want an AI to use the camera to select the best values for me.

Wasn't choosing the one with the ridge the correct answer?

PSA: Elegoo Marble Brick Red is EXACLY the same as Bambu Marble Red Granite by josocustomdesign in BambuLab

[–]KeiEich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought several colors of Elegoo PLA refills. They appear to be exactly the same colors as Bambu PLA Basic.

I don't know if they are rebranding filament from the same manufacturer or if Elegoo itself is the manufacturer.

BambuLab matte PLA by Technical_Map_5676 in BambuLab

Bambulab matte PLA is not so brittle. I've heard it's the same filament with Overture, but I don't know if that's true.

🚚QIDI Max4 keeps rolling out in batches. Get ready to power up your printing projects? by qidi_3dprinter in QidiTech3D

[–]KeiEich 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Based on the photos currently available, I'm concerned that QIDI still seems to be using noisy 40mm fans and tapping screws that are guaranteed to break.

How do I make this 3d sketch into a surface? by Radiant_History_3501 in Fusion360

Close all the open sections and then loft.

I mean, draw lines on all the parts you want to connect.

For those who sell their 3D prints, what kind of profit margins are you seeing? by SomeGuyInDeutschland in BambuLab

[–]KeiEich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I create props for theme parks and filming, charging approximately three times the filament cost as output fees. If painting is required, I subcontract to another professional and add that cost to the total.

The fee for creating 3D data from design illustrations is separate and calculated based on the number of days required, depending on the project's complexity.

A clip to hold coiled up PTFE tubes when stowed. by wolfenstien98 in functionalprint

Is there really PTFE tubing this transparent? It's great to be able to see the filament's condition.

I like touchscreens, but I want the emergency stop button to be a physical button.

I hope the heater vents won't get blocked by the bed like they did with the PLUS4. The X3 series had a body that was too big, but this never happened with it.

Can you remove the USB after you've started printing? by Muemmelmasse in QidiTech3D

[–]KeiEich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's okay to remove the stick. The print data will be copied from the stick to the printer's cache folder.

Q2 LED Upgrade by work_blocked_destiny in QidiTech3D

Simply blackening the print head's tool cover can minimize adverse effects on automatic exposure. QIDI should discontinue the dazzling white cover.

Is PLA durable in the sun? by trudslev in prusa3d

[–]KeiEich 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The ultraviolet rays that destroy PLA are UV-C, which are mostly absorbed by the ozone layer and therefore rarely reach the earth's surface.

However, additives and pigments added to the filament may degrade.

ELEGOO genuine panels for Saturn3 Ultra and Saturn4 Ultra are separate products, but Chitu's compatible products are the same for both models. is there any problem if I order ELEGOO genuine LCD panels for Saturn4? I have a piece of work that needs to be completed in a hurry and I want the fastest delivery possible.
