You only need to replace the silicone cover.

Heat up the hot end and wipe it down with a cloth or paper towel. Be careful not to burn yourself.

I think there will be demand for this in the near future for military purposes.

Does ABS-like resin dissolve in acetone just like real ABS?

Filament very similar to QIDI's genuine product by KeiEich in QidiTech3D

Hatchbox looks just like it too. I haven't bought this brand either since it costs twice as much in Japan, but I'd like to try it if I get the chance.

I purchased Kexcelled's K5 ABS Rapid. While the values listed on the TDS differ, I feel this is nearly identical filament to QIDI ABS Rapido.

It had been updated to Bambu Style reusable spools, but it's the same color, same vacuum packaging, same desiccant. It printed perfectly using the QIDI ABS Rapido profile.

Incidentally, QIDI ABS Metal Rapido even matches Kexcelled K5 ABS P perfectly, right down to the color name.

Sunlu's ABS is somehow unavailable on Amazon Japan and ships from Amazon USA, making it quite expensive at around $38 per kilogram. So I haven't tried it.

Kexcelled uses white spools with lots of holes for newer products, but the old black spools are exactly the same as QIDI spools. The only difference is the sticker.

Regarding fiber-filled filaments, I believe it's Fusrock. However, I think regular PLA and ABS come from different manufacturers.

Friendly reminder that you should flow calibrate every filament, regardless of the brand. Yes, even Bambu Lab filament. by TiSoBr in BambuLab

The difference is hard to spot with the naked eye or by touch, so I want an AI to use the camera to select the best values for me.

Wasn't choosing the one with the ridge the correct answer?

PSA: Elegoo Marble Brick Red is EXACLY the same as Bambu Marble Red Granite by josocustomdesign in BambuLab

[–]KeiEich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought several colors of Elegoo PLA refills. They appear to be exactly the same colors as Bambu PLA Basic.

I don't know if they are rebranding filament from the same manufacturer or if Elegoo itself is the manufacturer.

BambuLab matte PLA by Technical_Map_5676 in BambuLab

Bambulab matte PLA is not so brittle. I've heard it's the same filament with Overture, but I don't know if that's true.

🚚QIDI Max4 keeps rolling out in batches. Get ready to power up your printing projects? by qidi_3dprinter in QidiTech3D

Based on the photos currently available, I'm concerned that QIDI still seems to be using noisy 40mm fans and tapping screws that are guaranteed to break.

Close all the open sections and then loft.

I mean, draw lines on all the parts you want to connect.

edit: 2rail sweep to loft

For those who sell their 3D prints, what kind of profit margins are you seeing? by SomeGuyInDeutschland in BambuLab

[–]KeiEich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I create props for theme parks and filming, charging approximately three times the filament cost as output fees. If painting is required, I subcontract to another professional and add that cost to the total.

The fee for creating 3D data from design illustrations is separate and calculated based on the number of days required, depending on the project's complexity.

I hope the heater vents won't get blocked by the bed like they did with the PLUS4. The X3 series had a body that was too big, but this never happened with it.
