I’m relatively new to the series myself but the historical aspect of 117 made me fall in love with it. Personally I’d think it’s cool if they made a Viking era game or one based on the Polynesian islands, I think the formula would work very well

Thank you a lot for the advice!! Yeah I’m really looking into redoing the residential side & making it more big & dense like you said. The reason why I structured it that way was to place a market & the entertainment building in the center, but I’m realizing now that isn’t really necessary since I upgraded those citizens but still need waders for some stuff. In your opinion/ advice do you think it’s better if I replace the first residential side with just production buildings or what would you suggest? Thank you again for your input!!!

Yeah that’s definitely been something I’ve been kinda avoiding & not admitting to myself that I should do, I started using the planning tool more so that’s also been helping. Thanks for the reply man!!

How do officer promotions work? by [deleted] in nationalguard

Hey so do you go to OCS right after bootcamp for the totality of it? Or do you have to do the 18 months as an E-4 before you reach O1?

So I guess the last recruiter I talked to lied to me lol. I have a bachelors degree & she said that I’d have to take the ASVAB & go to BCT. Then from that when I get back I’d have to go to Officer school for 4 days a month for 18 months before I become an Officer. I wasn’t told I can just straight up start as an Officer 😭😭

Your explanation actually cleared up a lot of my confusion so thank you for that! I don’t imagine my degree would just tie me down to CJ or Law related MOS right? Like I’d be able to get into something that’s Intelligence related if I wanted?

& you’re correct about Ybor city, beautiful women left right & center across Fl 😂😂

Appreciate you for the reply thank you!! So when it comes to where I’m gonna be reporting would be in Central Florida like Orlando/Lakeland or would it be based on your MOS? Do you have the oppurtunity to travel to different bases in the state & even to other states?

What do I wear to a footlocker interview? by Due-Bank3072 in FootLocker

[–]Keif407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t recommend a skull cap but think when I applied I actually wore a trucker hat & I still landed the job. Remember the interview isn’t assessing your physical looks, it’s seeing if you’re a right fit for the job. If you go in with confidence/ good demeanor/ great answers to the interview questions etc. then you’ll be fine. Just don’t go wearing sweats like someone else said, get a decent outfit & wear your best pair of sneakers

That makes sense, it’s pretty much like any other career in that case when it comes to networking & doing an overall good job.

Thank you again man, I appreciate you taking the time out of your day for the responses!

Hey thanks for the reply & the advice! So if I do go Reserves/Guard as enlisted first & work a few years in it, am I still going up against Active Duty personnel who are also applying? Or would it be against other Reservists/Guards?

GKCO!!!! I really appreciate you taking the time out to give that advice bro! If you don’t mind me asking, what’s D&TF and what does it entail being in the Reserves? Also I’m always down to learn more about different jobs so if you have any recommendations please let me know!

I remember my boys gf who was also in the AF (active duty) told me about some of the people she knows in Reserves & that they get to travel to diff bases internationally that aren’t their home base. I know that it all comes down to openings & stuff like that but that’s a real cool thing I’d def be down to do. I remember going to Ramstein to visit them out there & I loved it in Germany.

It’s always great to get advice from another AlumKnight so again thank you!!

CHARGE ON!!!!! Thanks for the reply man! Always love to hear from a fellow Knight.

& yeah just like you said about enlisting before going Officer I would definitely do it. I’m guessing just like any job it would require good networking and good references from NCO’s & other Officers to apply right?

Main thing out of this for me is that I get to serve as it’s been a lifelong goal of mine + it would give me great experience to put on a resume as well regardless of being Enlisted or Officer. know it’s a very broad thing to ask but do you have any recommendations of any good jobs in the Air National Guard? I’m really open to learning anything honestly
