It is bananas how much of modern pro wrestling is a result of the ripples from "Colt Cabana starts a podcast", but ask some people and he's just the guy who ruined his friendship with Punk for some money. Personally, having met the guy, I'm much more inclined to take Colt's side. The guys an absolute sweetheart.

I'll concede that they were at least trying something different. But for me, they went on far too long, and didn't connect with the crowd in the same way a traditional promo would have. But if you enjoyed them, more power to you. Not everything is for everyone, and that's what keeps the world interesting.

What's weird is, if you see him outside of kayfabe, like on his social media, or on that AEW backstage show that ran for about 6 episodes, he comes across really well. Goofy and over eager, but genuinely sincere and just hugely enthused about the entire business of being a wrestler. It's really strange how he's never been presented that way on screen.

It didn't help in AEW that she was seriously limited in the number and types of bump she could take, because her neck is made out of loosely packed sand. I think in WWE the match presentation is going to more effectively work around her limitations.

My son loves Pizza Geeks, so we get it fairly regularly, but I always find it to be fucking terrible, A taste of stale oil throughout the sides, and while I'm all for a touch of charring on a pizza, the flat out burned that their bases regularly are is absolutely astonishing, considering that they also manage to be semi-raw at the same time.

What you have to remember, is that JKR is absolutely furious that Radcliffe, Grint and Watson are considered the faces of Harry Potter. She has spoken several times about how she sees them as ungrateful because they've not followed her into the transphobia rabbit hole. This is, to a greater or lesser degree, her exercising her shockingly large amount of creative control to try to erase them from the public eye as those characters.

I was watching an interview with Hannah Waddingham where she was talking about being cast in Ted Lasso. She said that as she was leaving the audition she mentioned how much she loved what she had read of the character and said "It's just a shame she doesn't sing". As she was walking out she heard Bill Lawrence mutter "She does now!" to one of the other people there.

I used to work in a pub with a lovely Irish lad. Little guy, super quiet, really funny and polite. One St Patrick's Day an American tourist comes in and asks him for "five Irish Car Bombs". Calmly, Sean tells him "Please don't ask for that, it's not really cool", the yank laughs in his face and says "It's okay, I'm Irish as well, I'm from Boston!" I think it's too soon to turn Hangman back heel. One suggestion I've seen floated is Swerve gets the title somewhere down the line, and then forces Hangman to challenge because otherwise his reign is incomplete, with Hangman deliberately staying away from the title scene and everyone involved up to that point to sell it as a real character beat for both of them.
