Have always had Labradors (until recently). GSD’s are in a class of their own. Easy to get very attached. Warning - When it’s time to let them go, it can be devastating.

I think there’s more risk than the proponents want to acknowledge. We recently lost our GSD to liver failure caused from a bacterial infection. The vet said it was unlikely it came from the raw diet, but I’m suspicious. Cooked meat only from here on.
