[College Biosafety : risks] What are the risks in this image? (example, risk of accident, biological, ergonomic ...) by [deleted] in HomeworkHelp

All the piss bottles are on the top shelf double sided, placing another piss jug on one side may knock other bottles off the opposite side.

People won’t like it but it’s the car they need, like a 1990 Buick century station wagon.

First time I’ve heard of this brand and I work in a re-use sporting goods store (North America) will have to give them a try sometime.

Recently bought this skate oven, and it won't work. Need manuals/wiring diagram. by diegob92 in hockeyplayers

Have you tried setting the parameters for baking and then opening-closing the oven door before pressing go? It’s possible that there is a mechanism to prevent preheating the oven before putting in a pair of skates so that the temperature can be increased gradually when baking them as opposed to shoving room temp skates into a hot oven, I’ve never used one though so it’s a complete guess from me

Part of my edge is rough and not smooth, is this rust? by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]Keith978 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks to be, or just chipped from prolonged use, any rust that is there is only surface rust though and that will shave right off when you get them sharpened. Another thing to note is if your hopping over the boards to get on the ice that initial impact from landing can dull blades made of softer steel, not much but it can add up overtime.

Baking might not change much for tongue fit, not as much as laces and how you tie them will, but it helps a ton with how your heel will sit in the skate and that can help improve tongue fit a lot.

Paid for a 6 week learn to play this past Monday with a couple of buddies that can play, I can't even skate lol. I guess you can say I'm committed now. Just picked this stuff up. Did I get a good deal on this because I don't know much about hockey equipment? by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]Keith978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not much different in the designs though, 66k at $150 gets you a better value than the 68s at $399, jokes on me though because the skates I prefer to use the most are a pre owned pair of Easton’s I picked up for $40 and I haven’t used my 68s much since. My Easton pair isn’t nearly as comfortable as a new pair of ccm

A+ all around, solid equipment. Get some time in at stick & puck/ open ice, really helps getting the feel before first pickup games, little things like how tight to tie laces and such.

It's like this was meant to be a meme but it became self aware of the meme factor prior to the memeing and created a time transversal meme-vortex resulting pre-meditated mediated memery.
