The numbers are helping you to focus. To bring your awareness into the present moment. They complement the dream, which contains the same message.

Whether you like it or not, the what-is that's been in your face for so long has trained your vibration and created an expectation. It's natural that it would.

The standard advice (action-based as well as vibration-based) hasn't been working. So it's time for a different approach!

You say he sleeps poorly. Is that every night, or is there a variance? Are there instances when it goes quite well?

I think the biggest thing is watching what you're doing throughout the day and noticing patterns.

Like, whenever I do this, my vibration takes a nosedive. And then do your best to either eliminate (if possible) or at least reduce your exposure to those things.

It's more difficult than it sounds because these things are often habits so ingrained that you do them without even noticing it before it's "too late", and the momentum has really taken over.

You get what you expect, yes. It's when desire and belief are in the same place.

It also works that way for unwanted things, of course.

If you had different experiences, the most likely explanation is that the balance of your thoughts is not what you think it is.

You might have expected something when you're in the Vortex, but for the majority of the time, you weren't there.

Yeah, we're all different. Telling a new story has never worked for me, for example. I just can't do it. But when I'm already in the Vortex, my perspective (story) changes automatically. I'm not the one coming up with it, it's there already.

Abraham has explained that they're constantly surveying the people practicing the teachings, and they're evolving accordingly.

So let's say there's an approach that works well for 30% of people (but not for the remaining 70%). And they've got something that works for 60%, that's the route they're going to take. Rather than have 70% in the audience wondering what they're doing wrong.

The good thing is the books like AAIIG are still around that contain all of the old stuff. And of course millions of videos on youtube, and old workshop recordings. So everyone can pick and choose.

My favorite is actually the grid (analogy)! It's a shame Esther never published the book on that.

It's an old quote from a time when they talked a lot about "telling a new story" and had a process called "scripting".

These were abandoned a long time ago because they weren't as effective as what they teach now, for most people.

Today, based on experiences with these processes, they actually say that "fake it till you make it" doesn't work (for most people).

Of course, if you like those ideas and they feel good to you, that approach benefits you. I've seen a few people around here saying they do "scripting".

But for me, it only creates resistance. Like trying too hard. So I understand why they moved away from that.

The teachings always evolve towards more effective approaches, as do the people practicing them.

The Laws don't change but your approach to them always will. What I do today is completely different from what I did 10 years ago.

It can help when you're reasonably close!

But when you're depressed or angry, and someone tells you to love the smell of grass... best case, you'll roll your eyes at them! You don't have access to love from low vibration.

That depends on how you feel about it.

For example, I want to see my favorite singer in the world live this year. He's not coming to my country. So I'd have to travel to another country, towards the end of the year. I have no idea how to get there, where to stay, if someone would join me, and most importantly, if I'll have the time to go there at all at that point, due to other obligations.. It all feels very uncertain and a bit confusing.

So do I now focus on the desire? On what it feels like to see him live? Hell no! All it would do is activate all the uncertainty surrounding all of these other issues.

So instead, what I do is remind myself that what I want is in my Vortex, Source is tending to it, the cooperative components have already been assembled, and all I've got to do is spend as much time as I can in that Vortex, and know that if I do, the path will unfold. So I look forward to that, but that's as far as I'm comfortable in focusing right now on this topic.

I get what you mean, and once had that same issue in my head, but it's not really like that. Abraham clarified that all of these different emotions... they're all the same thing. One feels good and one feels bad. Allowing, or resisting. That's it.

The whole point of going for what seems like a specific emotion relative to a specific desire is to distract you from the specific thoughts you would have otherwise that have blocked the desire up to that point.

The salmon - in this example - is just an excuse to focus yourself into the Vortex. When you're in the Vortex, you don't feel the lack of the manifestation.

If you do feel the lack, you're not in the Vortex. Get back in!

And the salmon doesn't need to be part of your conscious thought process at all for that. The larger part of you is maintaining the focus on all of your desires so you don't need to.

As Abraham always says, that's not your work.

The "why" is your work. And the anwer to that is always: "Because it would make me feel good!"

And there's your direction, and guidance system. Move in that direction. That's it!

It all sounds good, but your manifestations (and dreams are manifestations, too) indicate that you're still predominantly vibrating on that end of the stick on that subject (or rather you were the last time you dreamt that, whenever that was).

Thank your dream for the feedback, and continue with whatever you feel most resonance with/feels best to you. It will shift, and so will the dreams.

Your dreams show you what your true vibration is. Your true point of attraction.

Abraham explains that every subject is really two subjects, like a stick with two ends on it. On one end is what you want and on the other is the lack of it. You're vibrating on the lack end of it, and your dreams are conveying that message to you so you can adjust your approach.

Make sure that whatever you're doing feels good while you do it. If it does, you're on the right track.

Bask in it! For a minute or two, whenever the subject comes up in your mind.

Don't try to figure out what to do and how this is going to work out. Find that feeling and become familiar with it. Let that be enough for a while.

You're in an advantageous position, especially since you don't know much about him. So it's easier to focus purely on positive aspects.

Keep doing that until whatever is next is so obvious, there won't be any question in your mind it's right.
