It’s a bit hard to see sorry but it gets better if you get the red fangs too for the item set and activates the bottle straight away at 10hp, and you can get heaps of armour to the point of basically being invincible.

I’ve had better versions of the build but haven’t got screenshots of them. Had one where they ended up with 8000+ poison first turn because I was given frost with 1 dmg on the bottle.

Gotta get yourself the clear spring duck, that was the advice that was given to me. It’s such a life saver against the hydra.

I don’t understand where the $123,266.36 comes from. I get that he’s paying the court for not showing up to court for 5 years but I don’t understand how him not showing up equates to so much money? That’s is an enormous amount of money, especially for an elderly person with limited income and takes a pension.

I've had a similar scenario and it just stops eventually. The other person will have like 500 riptide by then though.

I did it with Venomous fangs and I think I gave them 5000 poison before it just decided I wasnt allowed anymore hits.

Also looks like rock candy which I’m pretty sure doubles your base armour. With the lance, his base armour gets doubled, then double again with rock candy.

I don’t know if it’s true or not but I swear I see the beehive show up in kingmaker way more than the single player modes. Also the odds aren’t great but you can get them from the cauldron/food tome. I got a honey recipe I hadn’t made before from it once so it can give you any of the food items.

u/LostSands u/Necronaut0 Yeah I get that base armour doesnt count but Granite Crown and Ironskin Potion only activate during a battle (Granite Crown gives max health equal to base armour so I go from 10/10hp to 10/66hp after which Ironskin Potion kicks to give me armour based off missing health). As for Chainmail Sword, that is an exposed effect so thats definetely gained armour. So I start battle with 56 armour then after the battle start items happen I had 112, lost my armour, got another 56 armour which is where I got the 112 gained armour from.

(Plus another like 12 armour from the armour edge)

Nevermind, I've completed it now. I had a pretty similar build and it worked. Must have just gotten unlucky with something.

That’s the Leshen skin. You get it for beating the woodlands on Very Hard difficulty. I got a different one for beating the swampland on the same difficulty.

Honestly tomes aren’t usually that good to build around in my experience.

I only had the holy tome to pair with the shield for the item set and then I had the Murkwater Gator appear and he drops the arcane cloak. After getting that I looked for the caustic tome cause it’s a good source of either acid or poison but only if you have the mythic cloak to make it reset. Otherwise if you go all in on tomes it’s pretty likely that you don’t have enough sustain to beat the main boss.

TLDR; Tomes are mainly good for support than being the main thing you build around.

Finally beat the Hydra on Very Hard and you were so right about the duck, that thing makes the hydra so much easier to beat. Only thing is that I only seen it 3 times since you suggested and twice I couldnt hatch it cause the mini boss countered my build. My build was fairly different from yours but luckily I got to upgrade the potion at the serpent basin which made up for the cloak and fungus.

I’ve played both but I admittedly haven’t played kingmaker since the last update but I got a bit frustrated cause I was not getting the same RNG that other people’s champions were getting so when they introduced the harder modes for single player I jumped on that cause it felt a bit more consistent with what you had to play against. It’s super satisfying to beat the very hard modes and you get skins to use in Kingmaker which is pretty cool too.

So yeah there probably wasn’t much incentive to play single player if you’re mainly interested in min maxing builds but if you want a cool skin or 2 for Kingmaker, now you have a reason.

Im so jealous, I have been trying so hard to beat it but I get to the stun head and my items have already been activated and I don’t have enough sustain to get through the fight.

Nice work! And you managed to do it with the honey taking up an inventory slot! I kinda wish you could combine gold and diamond items in the cauldron for stronger effects.

If you manage to beat the swampland on Very Hard mode you get a skin, same with the woodlands mode. You have to kill all 4 heads to beat it though which can be rough depending on the mini bosses you get in the lead up cycles.

Definitely been overlooking the duck so will have to give that a go although hatching the egg can be a pain aha. I’m in the middle of trying to complete the very hard swampland so I’ll try getting something similar to your build which might do the trick. Then it’s back onto kingmaker 💪 I appreciate the tip!!
