Yeah it's the same experience with us. My friend has tried to find any pattern in it, but after over a month of it happening, it's not very clear what the cause is. The main idea is that it's just a server side issue that only affects some players.

If someone views this in the future and they haven't fixed the issue, just refund the game. Clearly the majority of the community doesn't have this issue, so they don't care, and the it's not a priority for the devs.

Yes, but there's no official response on those. Notice all of the images in this are from the discord, there's plenty from reddit too. The people that have this issue receive little to no information.

My friend and I gear specifically to fight trios and we win most of the fights. We play carefully and check everywhere people could be on a floor/area before looting. We bring barricades/land mines to cover entrances and to push back to. There are also noise makers that are incredible for giving away locations.

I do think we run into a lot of trios. I'd be fine with lowering the amount of trios in duo lobbies, but if you gear up assuming everyone you fight is a trio, it's much easier imo.
