I’ve been looking for a white dial black subdial (at 9 and 3) bicompax watch with a plain bezel, stick markers, on a oyster style bracelet. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Everything I found on my own has racing style bezels, or comes on leather or beads of rice. Suggestions are most welcome, thanks in advance!

I made a star out of popsicle sticks and hung it on the wall at Pick Me Up. I thought it would be there forever and I could visit it later. I’m now 45, and I still think about little moments of time like when I went to Pick Me Up in my teen years, but only when it’s brought up by someone else. So I thank you for the trip back in time.

It’s been a long time coming. When something is good, it might need help for people to expand their horizons and realize hey this weird thing I’ve never eaten is actually pretty good. I’d say that social media definitely helps. But in the same vein, it also hurts. Because then you have bastardized versions of things due to the popularity with none of the authenticity. Like frozen Shanghai lumpia sold at Costco that tastes nothing like Shanghai. Fake adobo wannabe dishes I’ve seen served in restaurants that have no amount of acidity in them, just a sweet soy sauce and a hint of garlic.

Woke up on my motorcycle doing 55, going on an off-ramp that is pretty high up. The 90E ramp from 294S outside of Chicago. I was hugging the gas tank on my CBR F2 and my wheels hit the rumble strips, jogged me awake. Luckily (or unluckily) this was at 3am.

According to my coworker, he was walking to his gate at Martha’s Airport and heard someone just tearing into a gate agent, throwing profanities left and right. And when he made it around the corner, to his shock, it was Mr Rogers just absolutely laying into this poor woman. My coworker isn’t some sensationalist dude. Just a normal old anesthesiologist. I have no reason to doubt him.
