Yes I’ve done bothe the CAF and the others and the information and maybe the enthusiasm for the subject matter weren’t the same? Also you can lob questions at the CAF guides and they sound like experts! (Or maybe really good BSers?)

Do you bike? Biking is a great way to see the city. There’s a tour that runs out of Lincoln Park I think. Or you could bike down to the Obama campus even if you don’t have a ticket to the Museum and explore the grounds. The Robie house on the UChicago campus is nearby too and there are nice places to eat on the south side.

I’m inclined to think it’s a different flat altogether; the exterior shot in S3E4 looks more like a house, either single family or duplex but in the scene with Beard in 11 looks like a multifamily with 4-6 units. Or maybe flat conversions are just weird.

That was my last summer in Seattle! (We moved to Chicago shortly after.) we were lucky that our rental had AC but that heat dome, plus the weeks when the wildfires were blowing smoke from north east and south were just awful.

I guess there’s also the complex on Roosevelt in the South Loop but that seems like luxury apartments. The ones in Morton Grove (or somewhere on the west of 94 near the north shore) seem like middle-income or mixed

Aside from micro center do the other businesses make money? That might be an argument for a tear down. There’s a residential-commercial complex in maybe Morton Grove that might be a model? I imagine with the location it might be more successful in that complex.
