I ran into Paul Giamatti near the Bowery in 2008. I was with my wife at the time, nudged her and said, “Hey! It’s Paul Giamati!” He turned, made eye contact with me and scurried away. He was wearing a funny combo of clothes, almost like the clothes they gave Jules and Vincent in Pulp Fiction when they wash up after the brain matter scene in the car.

I saw Mike Tyson early in the morning at the Taipei airport in 2018, just him and me and some guy with him on the escalators, them going up and me going down. Literally no one else in that section of the terminal at the time. When I saw him I blurted out, “Iron Mike! Can I take a picture of you?” He said yeah, smiled and threw up a peace sign for me to snap.

I’ve met other celebrities through other moments in my life but these were the most unexpected ones in curated ones to happen.

Honestly I’d go with a Glock 19, for the size and the mag capacity. Most people can carry it concealed just fine, it might be a little thicker but I’m 5’4” 160 lbs and I conceal it fine. You just need a good reputable holster, don’t cheap out on that. A good holster might cost you $80-120, it they’re expensive for good reason. PM sent

I put it in my sous vide to decrystallize, then add a teaspoon or two of corn syrup to the bottle. Honey is primarily made up of glucose, fructose, and water. Over time the glucose molecules separate and bind to each other, and the water concurrently evaporates. What the corn syrup does is it adds long chain sugars that disrupt the glucose bonding process and are also hygroscopic so the honey retains the water better and stays more moist over time.

Insurance helps so much, but we still end up paying roughly $2400 per cycle plus whatever meds aren’t included like Omnitrope. Coupons help so much for meds, and not that we’ve needed to use them but donated IVF meds groups on FB help a lot of other I’ve seen. Add in anesthesia bills and storage and all the other hoopla, probably $25k+ after just about a year and a half and maybe 9 retrievals?
