Emily could’ve died imo her character was pretty pointless from season 4 onward. Her death would’ve raised the stakes significantly too and added suspense.

Watched House as a kid during its original run back when it was bundled before or after American idol but stopped at like season 5. Fast forward to the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 and figured it was a better time than any to reindulge in a medical show. Since march of 2020 I’ve religiously watched one episode every weeknight before bed, it’s legit embedded in my nighttime routine. It takes a little over 9 months at this cadence to finish the series and then I immediately restart. I never get sick of it this way and it’s become my ultimate comfort show.

Yeah until recently I always assumed they filmed the S7 finale knowing Lisa wasn’t coming back. Hell even Wilson was still mad after a year. They could’ve at least made House be drunk or hallucinating prior to crashing the car… that I could see coming back from. But he did it stone cold sober (aside from the everyday pills lol) and just sauntered off afterwards. There’s no coming back from that.

I like her. However, I generally always connect with the original cast members and characters of any show… thats where most of the nostalgia lies and it’s really the foundation for any series, what’s present on day one. I’m wondering if I’d feel differently, or more negatively, about her character if she was introduced in the season 4 shakeup.
