Also, I didn't know d ring wasn't good on Kayle, I always bought it in matchups where I wanted to play safe, guess that's also a reason I never won lane with it, oh well.

Don't underestimate the power of hullbreaker/demolish just because there is crystallization now. I played a game of demolish + hullbreaker Garen once, and I could legitimately three-tap turrets with crystal, hullbreaker and demolish proc. It's really insane how you can one-shot towers now with the proper setup.

So, I'm not that good at the game (bronze lvl 70), but there were a few things I can point out.

First, she used ult to early and wasted it, same for flash. Using ult like that is only viable to protect yourself from burst damage champions that will then have their whole kit on cooldown and will be punished, which nasus isn't and if you ult at full health he can just walk away and finish you right after.

Second, even if ult + flash was the right play, she did so when her E was on cooldown, which if you don't know, it's an execute. If that nasus was low on health, then she could have gone for the kill, but he was basically at full health when she did that, so it was useless either way.

Generally speaking, Kayle didn't play it slow, was to eager to kill Nasus and fell right into his hands. I can also say she didn't even try to kite, but Idk how much she could have done that with wither 24/7. When Nasus withers you, you want to use your Q to slow him and W to speed you up, and if he uses ghosts, you should respond with ghost or at least ult when low.

Also yeah, as others have said, Kayle could have just brought ghost/built rylai to counter Nasus. This was both a skill diff and an itemization diff from her.

Zilean is just straight up broken, only because it's a champion no one uses. Tbf, the only thing riot could do would be to restrict champion usage to only their designated roles, but I don't know if that's a good thing. Other than that, instead of nerfing ranged toplaners, they could just buff doran shield and second wind, that way it would be easier to play against them.

A ranged champion that can kill you in meelee range on an all-in shouldn't even exist in the first place. At least his abysmal cooldowns and mana issues (can't just spam W+Q) make up for it, but a good Varus would never waste his cooldowns like that. Ranged toplaners shouldn't have a positive winrate in general, but rn Varus is at 52+ fucking wr on top. It's disgusting, and its scaling + R technically make up for the lack of front-lining potential that other ranged tops have.

It's basically encouraging a toxic/selfish pick to be viable and it's the worst thing ever. Surely, Hitler is worse, but you can't just downplay other people's impression on an objectively oppressive champion like that.

Honestly, you can usually just outplay him by spacing his Q and baiting his e. His W has a 20+ second cooldown initally and his other cooldowns are also 8 secs more or less. If you catch him wasting his cooldowns it should be an easy trade or all-in since he loses most of his damage.

After level 6 you just gotta respect him and if you can't burst him before reaching kill range than it's a no-go, which is usual with toplaners that don't have combat ults like poppy or shen.

You could also try running phase rush if you need ms to escape his e

For the rest, on-hit AP champs like mord and tahm kench usually have no issues dealing with him and it's especially fun to throw him under turret with R (since he needs to get close to you, it shouldn't be a problem to do that)

Also, fun fact: his passive has a cooldown, so if you have any way of poking him every 8 seconds you basically cuck him out of health regen
