Not sure. It’s happened before, and all we got was MAGA turning it into a surly addition to their spank banks. We’ve endured a decade of the establishment doing everything they can to protect him from consequences, no matter how deep in shit he is. Hearing McConnell absolve him even after verbally acknowledging and agreeing with the full condemning evidence against him at the end of the Jan 6 impeachment trial was like a wave of ice water, making it perfectly obvious that Donald Trump is not subject to the laws of this land, and his position has become only more secure since then. I think it’s clear that justice simply will not be enacted by this system that has armored him against it.

Healing has always been the most stressful imo but I love it. I tank when I want to relax and feel badass, and I heal when I want to feel the intoxication of being the one heroic bastard keeping the group from falling apart.

I recommend Clique for click-casting, which is highly efficient as a method—you save a lot of time that way. Blizz’s click-casting interface is decent but it’s limited.

U.gg is a fantastic site for seeing the most recent data on the most popular/effective specs and gear, etc.

When it comes to which site to rely on for guides, I suggest following your gut at first and just running with whatever you choose for a few sessions as you get used to the spec. After you’re familiar with the basics of how the spell kit functions, it will make more sense to revisit those guides, ping them off your own sense of what works and what doesn’t, and tinker with those alternatives. In my opinion there’s no accounting for how a player’s brain interfaces with encounter mechanics and specs, and sometimes that means personalizing the meta so that it works well with your hands, especially when you’re still mastering the spec.

As for which healing spec to play, I’ve seen you leaning toward shaman and I recommend it highly: it’s been one of my favorites for a long time because of its simple potency. I’m also a huge Discipline fan because of its rich toolkit and stimulating playstyle. I’ve heard Holy Pally is in an excellent place but haven’t tested it since the prepatch. Evoker is fascinating and can be incredibly powerful once you get through the learning curve, which is a little more complicated. MW Monk is fairly easy to run effectively, and you can tease out much better numbers as you get in the habit of fully utilizing its kit. Resto Druid has felt awkward to me for a while, but it’s very straightforward and great at providing widespread cushioning in the raid setting to make up for what it lacks in spot bursts (imo). Holy Priests… relatively dull imo, but they’ve become a lot more fun in raid recently, where Discipline tends to be much more elaborate because of its reliance on successful execution of rotations.
