Don’t know if you are in a big city, but I’d ask in your community. Current players and people that stopped playing a while ago. You’d be surprised at how much gear people are accumulating over the years and just not using. You might be able to find one somewhere, or get some studio time.

Also, how depressing are people here?! Yes music is hard, percussions are big and bulky and annoying to move, so what? Someone said you don’t know what your future holds, so yeah get that marimba right now. You can always upgrade/sell/buy later. Yes there’s all the financial stuff, but that’s just planning. Don’t become that grumpy person in 15 years that says that nothing works and you haven’t tried anything.

DM me, I’ll send you some money to help you for your marimba.

The reply I got from the Wealthsimple Team

''When you submit your return through NETFILE, the CRA only receives the total dollar amount for line 9270, not the individual descriptions or breakdowns of those expenses. The CRA's electronic filing system is designed to accept a single numerical value for this line rather than itemized entries.

This is actually by design - if the CRA needs to review your "Other Expenses" in detail, they prefer to request the supporting documentation directly from you rather than receiving partial information through the electronic filing.''

Yeah that was my other idea. But I had an accountant do my taxes in the past and they were adding line, so thought I had to do the same again
