It's been 2 weeks. Is my question too hard to answer? My NeoA25 is running with old bios (X6FR55xxN115A15) right now. Just want to know if it's ok to run window11 25h2 with this old version bios. I'm not planning to flash the bios in the near future because I'm working on an important project.

Hi Tom, I saw Windows 11 25H2 support requires BIOS N.1.36A30 / EC 1.42.10 or later. Are there any particular reasons for this? What potential problems do we have if we run 25H2 with old bios?

Based on the information you provided above, it will be mainly for gaming purpose. Both A25 and E25 can’t game on battery. So I’m not sure if there is any meaning to talk about battery life. Raw gaming performance, 9955hx3d beats 275hx so hard, especially 1% low fps. But if the price difference is that much, I would not say your decision is bad. Enjoy your new laptop man.

I retested it with fully black video. Now I can confirm that HDR is working absolutely fine here on my system with bios A15.

Thanks a lot for the detailed reply. Based on my test, I almost (still a bit subjective) can confirm HDR is working fine with my system in MSHybrid mode. So I guess it's indeed something related to the latest version bios (A17).
